You mean when the techs are at home in bed with their husbands/wives? Or when they're getting their kids ready for school? Or maybe they could do it in the evening when the single parent techs are making their children dinner, bathing their kids, getting them ready for bed? Oh! I know! They can put their kids to bed, leave the kids at home alone, come in at midnight, and hope that no one reports them to social services to have their kids taken away!

    Great idea!

    **EDIT**

Yes, I'm sure some of the techs are single or have no kids. THOSE techs in particular need to keep their 9 to 5 job, so that they can attempt to have a social life, and perhaps meet someone to have a relationship with, have kids with, etc. Why do you hate the techs? You're a gamer. You should be supportive of them, not attacking them. Just sayin...

Since when did Techies start to have a personal life? In my times the average tech was male, 30 years of age and still a virgin and living with his parents, but never start to ask them about the downsides of TCP/IP...

Well being an adult, and having a job sometimes means having to figure stuff like that out, given reasonable notice i'm sure they could make it work.

You realize thats most of american midclass workers right? have you ever been a bartender? a server? a gastation worker? a manager for any company? mabe even a CEO? CONGRATS! Thats life for ya. But i do understand you'd like to sympathies, most of us like this game and its something we like to do in OUR time off. And it really doesn't matter because regardless of wht we say, DOESNT make it go any faster. Nor will they change their schedules to fit our own. life sux we'll get used to it.

Sure, sure. Let's just change the hours to accomodate everyone. Let's open all Six Flags parks worldwide all year round. How dare nature get cold on us? Let's just delete nature, and we can accomplish that.

While we're at it, who decided 22 episodes are the standard for a TV season? Or worse, 10 to 13 episodes? I watch TV all year round. They're not working with my schedule, by not writing and filming and airing episodes twice a week every week, all year round.

Schools! Ermagerd, don't get me started on schools! Elementary, high school, doesn't matter. Where at the midnight classes for those kids of parents who work at night? Let's open all the public schools for a night time schedule. Come on people, this is what we demand!

Gas stations in small towns should never close. I hate those places that only allow you to pay by credit card after hours. So what, you're not going to work for someone who only has cash? You automatically assume that if the car owner doesn't have a credit card, their money is good enough for you? Keep one dude on hand to take cash. Or at least install a cash-acceptor on the pump next to the credit card ready. Holy ****, that's almost discrimination!

On what the heck is up with Google? You let employees live in their cars in your parking lots? Sleep in pods on site? Feed them for free? Let them do their laundry for free? All for the sake of having happy employees who are always on hand 24/7??? No, wait, that's actually pretty cool. Scratch that one.

Personally, I don't care when the downtime is. I'm happy they're actually doing maintenance and trying to keep the game running as smoothly as possible for us. Been VIP since 2009. Not really planning on ever going f2p or premium. My personal way to support them. I lurve Turbine.

We're not yet ready to provide details about the event, other than the hint provided in the Producer's Letter from July, but we can say that the event's items will be the items from Mabar. At this time we have not been able to recover the Mabar festival in a way that addresses the issues with it and allow for its return.

Regarding Crystal Cove, we're planning to run the event this year with the new tier of loot around the time that Mabar would normally arrive. The plan for the future is to have the new event run around the time that we used to run Mabar.
Mabar won't be coming back in the old form. They couldnt fix the lag.
