Default Downtime Notice: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) Thursday, October 30th

UPDATE: The DDO game worlds have reopened. Thank you for your patience, and we will see you in the game!

UPDATE: The downtime has been extended until 2:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT). We apologize for the additional delay.

The DDO Game Servers will be brought down on Thursday, October 30th from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Eastern (-4 GMT) for a hotfix. Thanks for your patience, and we'll see you back in the game soon!

This hotfix is being done to fix an issue where some quest NPCs are not providing End Reward lists when speaking to them after completing a quest.

    I call it "The Shunning"

They refuse to talk to you if you're a touch too evil.

Default What will the fix, er fix?

I reported the Threnal issue a couple of days ago, got some in game help and when that wasn't successful, called CS. This hotfix is coming out quickly! Thanks for the fix. Now, what will be the end result? Am I going to get credit for the progress on the Threnal chain I ran? I would love to be able to pick up from where I was and move on. Thanks again

If you're Lawful Good you must be a Paladin, if you're a Paladin you must be a Bladeforged, Bladeforged follow the Lord of Blades and the Lord of Blades is Evil.

Then you must be Evil too.

In the eyes of the catholics in the 13-19 centuries, Holy Inquisition was the most Lawful Good thing ever, so there you have it :P

I hate to cloud the issue with "facts" but that's just not accurate.
I can be found on Orien as Cilon
HC7: Typhoon, Dreaded Knight, and Wish. HC6: Naivety. HC5: Who Is Here. HC4: Cylon Centurian. HC3: Soulstone in Your Pack. HC2: Carnage

It would seem to me that the hours to do these so-called hot-fixes would be before 8 AM

Anyone play Smite? The 3am downtime is a prime downtime IMO.

You mean when the techs are at home in bed with their husbands/wives? Or when they're getting their kids ready for school? Or maybe they could do it in the evening when the single parent techs are making their children dinner, bathing their kids, getting them ready for bed? Oh! I know! They can put their kids to bed, leave the kids at home alone, come in at midnight, and hope that no one reports them to social services to have their kids taken away!

    Great idea!

    **EDIT**

Yes, I'm sure some of the techs are single or have no kids. THOSE techs in particular need to keep their 9 to 5 job, so that they can attempt to have a social life, and perhaps meet someone to have a relationship with, have kids with, etc. Why do you hate the techs? You're a gamer. You should be supportive of them, not attacking them. Just sayin...

Since when did Techies start to have a personal life? In my times the average tech was male, 30 years of age and still a virgin and living with his parents, but never start to ask them about the downsides of TCP/IP...
