Natasha Thorston:

Can battle for sure, "Despite her humble origins, Natasha is a renowned cleric of amazing ability. She is a gifted healer, and capable combatant. " Although she is listed a cleric, don't expect hjeals. She'll use all her mana fighting, which is great for me. I like to zerg a dungeon with her somtimes for company and intense battle action.

Also, you can use your arty dog or druid wolf to take your stone (and Natasha's : ) ) to a shrine just like a hireling.

EDIT ~ if you use hires/dog/wolfs allot you can save a feat when you get to you get to level 26 if you use the Necklace of Mystic Eidolons as a main item. When it's upgraded with 150 Black Stones from Haunted Halls it adds the feat Augment Summoning. You can visit Fred in House J to swap out Augment Summoning for something else. Don't forget you can get a free feat swap in the Marketplace from doing Hall of the Mark.

Comment on the excellent episode: you can summon many gold seal hirelings, so you can have a full party with 1 regular hireling and 4 gold seals.
