i rolled up a level 4 WF wizard with 18 int last night and got insightful strikes II...i did not see the INT to damage applied to my starter great axe. i also did not take insightful strikes I...is this an unlisted prerequisite?

when you get your intel higher it'd be more noticeable. it'd be hard to see only 4 damage being applied to any weapon. and great axes are a d10 arent they? basically after alot (like 10k should suffice) Did you ever see below a 5 on stuff that doesnt have DR, and that wasnt a glancing blow or grazing hit?
it should show on the weapon though...or the enhancement bar at the top (it does for swashbuckler stuff and INT to damage there)and i critted for 10...great axe is x3 so even with just +4 it should be at least 12.
just curious if i need insightful I
the insightful strikes 2, Should add to the Damage mod line on the weapon itself. (something like Damage mod: Intell (+X) (Str/Int)), and of course it Doesnt stack with swashbuckler intel to damage as they both do the same thing. havent tried it without insightful strikes 1. but it definately shows up for my wizard.
I don't think it's adding. I used Strategic Combat I and definitely saw my to-hit increase. I then tried just Strategic Combat II - with and without casting "Insightful Strikes." Well, the damage decidedly goes down when Insightful Strikes was not cast.
So I do not believe it is adding its damage. Perhaps as the person above states, it only adds damage when you have Strat/com I.
