Well done.

I like trying to solo raids and am glad most of them don't have mechanisms specifically designed to prevent it.

Shroud is a fun one, because having a strong character isn't enough by itself to get you through.

I'm curious as to what your pull was for part 2... I seem to get Fire and Cat all too often.

Does that really say 81 minutes? If so, guess I can rule out a solo Elite Shroud on my lunch breaks

I had a good pull on earlier attempts...and then
messed up part 3 because I suck at puzzles and
didn't realize more than one rainbow wall appears.

This attempt was fire and cat, I did have to whack
the crystal more than once due to only having a
random thrower from the AH for lever shooting duty
and spacing out on the order that the PDK speed boost
and other boosts need to be activated.


The time was 61 minutes, some of which were
bio breaks between phases.

You didn't just break the crystals and run water o0, that's pretty cool.

Nice work. Theres no better way to get to know a raid than to solo it IMO. You never feel the same running it again in a group either once you have run it on your own. Like before your solo you always thought you needed the group to complete it.

There are many challanges in soloing elite Shroud, they differ vastly depending on the class/build you take in there. Raids have also been rescaled multiple times over the past years, comparing what was done years ago to what is done today is like comparing night with day. Nice completion, I'd watch your video if you ever uploaded it.

If you kill the guys in part 2 and let them reform, you can kill them later
even when they stand together.

I used bluff and other stealth tactics to pull them apart one by one.

Once that was done I prepped them all and drug them away. I then killed
them all, making sure to take out the cat last because he's really fast.

This gives time to destroy the crystal, which is only vulnerable when all
four enemies are dead.
(This is why people say "prep, split, and kill" during part two of the shroud.)


Unfortunantly in the run where I completed I had two fast enemies and
had to damage the crystal in multiple passes.
(The crystal thankfully doesn't heal when it goes back into shield mode)
