    Same problem here. I am using windows 8.1, was playing the game earlier today, then I came home in the evening, wanted to play a little and cannot launch client because of 0x80004005.     I was having the same log-in issues (waiting in line, etc,). The wait in queue was a little longer than usual, but I'm now in game on Ghallanda.
    Respect your home plane of existence. It is unique and cannot be replaced.

    Seems the log in issue is same as yesterday was logged in , sorting a bit gear on boat and then I got froze couldn't move. Now I tried to log out which was my only option after waiting five minutes to see if the lag went away , but didn't so now it is getting stuck on the cleaning up old connection issues.

    Is there anything I might try to get through the cleaning up old connection? It has been at least ten minutes here ,day off wanted to get a good day gaming in on thelanis server.

    Cant Log in Cannith. All was fine 3 Hours ago, no Problems with Log in Cannith.

    Try a system reboot it usually works for me.
