I need some build advice for Half Elf Dragon Marked Ranger

I rarely ask for build advice, and never would want to copy someone else's build, but I need some ideas about how to get the most out of a Dragon Marked Half Elf.

Pure Ranger, and maybe some multiclassed ideas.


I have a Rgr/Brd that I am struggling with too. The plan was Rgr11/Brd9. But now that I am trying to fit SFW into the build, Rgr11 doesn't mean as much as it used to.

With Harper coming out soon, that is something to consider as well. (part of my problems is always trying to fit in too many ides into a single character.. )



Ok, CHA adds to save DCs for Dragon Marks.
Spell craft adds to damage.
Concentration adds time to the Power of the Storm.

I am not even sure what I am asking for... just ideas to get the most out of it.

Don't forget as helf, you can take the paladin dilettante feat to get boosts to your saves. Why not make it a swashbuckler thrower with swf as well.

Yeah, my Rgr/Brd took the Pal dilettante feat/enhancements.
I started with Cha 14, but did not put any level ups into Cha.

Where to put my stat points is one of my issues as well.
I can't quite figure out a build I like, (or that can do everything I want it to)

Perhaps a pure Bard would work, but I really prefer Rangers... and also trying to make my Rgr11/Brd9 idea work out too.


Bards are looking more attractive lately.
Sad... right after I finished a Bard life on my (eventual) completionist toon.... lol

So.... I guess I would consider advice for a SWF Swashbuckling(Harper?) Bard as well. (Dragon Marked Half Elf)
(and possible with some Arcane Archer mixed in there as well.... ) (did I mention I always try to add too much to my builds? lol )
