    Default Eternal Champion

    I wanted to build a character that had so much healing pouring through, that he couldn't possibly die, and if he did, he would pop right back up anyways... for this, I started with the thought of going with Clr/Pal/Rog to get the Warpriest Divine Intervention and Radiant Servant Burst along with evasion and a lot of saves, and with that build I found I had 20+ Turn Undeads and Divine Healing etc... But something just didn't seem right... I spent way too much effort trying to get my dual wield to be a thing (feats are a premium!), so I ditched rogue (for evasion) and picked up Ranger, but to get evasion, gotta go 9th level, and GTWF at 11, so 9 more levels than with Rogue, but it freed up a lot of feats at the cost of now not really being all that able to get RS enhancements...

    What to do... well, it occurred that this approach actually freed up my T5's as well, which allowed for Evasive Dance... a nice bonus! I also noticed that I could grab +3 LoHs from Sacred Defender to go with Twisting in the extra LoH's and the LoH-Burst from Unyielding while staying in Divine Crusader... this gives me 7 LoH's that recharge at a rate of 1 per 144 seconds (I believe is the recharge time) and it almost heals me full up each time as well as healing those around me. In addition, for having TWF at 90% and a decent Doublestrike % with equipment (around 30% I believe), Ameliorating Strike (tested on Lamannia) quite often does a 3-Count for around 100-120 (x3) every 15 Seconds... no need for the Burst from RS or those pesky Turn Undeads (despite being a full-charisma build)...

    I would like any and all criticisms... per test on Lamannia, I can kill and keep down all the Kobolds in the fight-room, and have hit with crits around 1K-3K, normal hits are around 300-500 (plus extras), TF BS's with 15-20 Range, Dodge is around 25-30% as well (depending on how I do enhancements)... If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I like it a lot so far, but if there is room for improvement, will gladly listen to feedback!

    A couple of things:

    1. how do you get overwhelming critical without meeting the strength requirements?
    2. why are you favoring charisma over strength or dex? the only reason I can think of is the pally saves, but this will be changed soon according to the devs.

    1. IIRC in the next update, the STR requirement for overwhelming crit is disapearing
    2. Also IIRC, when the pally change goes into effect, you'll still be able to get a max of +8 CHA modifier to saves with a pally 2 splash, or +11 in this case.....see below:

    Quite correct, I will have to rectify this by taking more Paladin and Less Cleric then... But since 11 Ranger/4 Cleric is minimum to keep Ameliorating Strike and GTWF + Imp. Evasion, that would mean only 5 Paladin, so 17 bonus from Charisma? 31 Cha + 14 Items +5 Destiny/Enhancements: 50 Cha (20 bonus, so not losing too much)... or would it be better to go Monk and Evasion, or Rogue and Evasion, or scrap evasion, and go for heavy armor and sacred defense? Suggestions?

    I agree, Moorcock was one of my main contributions for a lot of RPG choices I make and made in my life. It is sad that he doesn't get more credit from RPG players for all that he has done for the fantasy genre and for the idea of antiheroes in general!

    2/12/6 what mix? 2 Rng/12 Pal/6 Mnk? lol... or 2 Rng/12 Pal/6 Cleric? Need some more info here, what class mix are you suggesting and for what reasons and how would you handle feats, etc? Part of the reason I went with 11 Rng, is for the granted feats, which helps alleviate the issues with a tight feat limitation build (IE non-mnk, non-ftr), so tell me your strategy for this, I'm interested, just need to know more

    Default 8 Pal/6 Mnk/6 Clr Version

    Since using Monk was suggested, I decided to work out a possible build for Pal/Mnk/Clr. Went with Light Side for the constant heal touch, and due to not having ranger anymore spent the points elsewhere and got the Positive Energy Aura back as well as a ton of bursts and the reactive heal. Instead of bastard swords, grabbed the short swords as Ki weapons from Ninja to allow being centered, PTWF/GTWF, PDK cha for swords, etc... Take a look at this one, and as always, let me know what you guys think! The goal is to have a decent DPS while maintaining a nigh-unkillable (through nearly infinite healing) champion of JUSTICE!

    Preliminary testing shows 20+ turn attempts that regen at a rate of ~144 seconds each (for the Pos. Bursts and Healing Aura) as well as the 7 LoH's that feed the "Light in the Dark" ability for a burst of 550-600 heal each time, and they regen at 1 per ~144 seconds as well... That plus the Healing Touch, and consecrate (divine crusader) that pops for about 60 per 3 seconds... and I think pretty much every one of these effects is AoE, so good for the whole group!

    I wonder why bother investing so much in cleric for a healing aura, when it heals 1 hp for each 3 cleric levels you have.
    so in exchange for a lot of enhancement points and levels, you end up with an aura that heals (at base) 2hp per tick?
    surely there's a better way of generating self healing ...

    I liked your original idea better, going for a tempest warpriest. the tier 5 Dance of Death that allows you to hit several targets each swing, if activated before ameliorating strike, assuming you go for 100% off-hand strikes from the level 12 temepest core, can easily generate 5-6 procs of ameliorating strike (as tested on some lamm kobolds) even without being completely surrounded.

    I would limit the cleric levels to 4 (or 5 fvs instead) go for 12 ranger, and splash on 3-4 pally for the saves and LoHs.
    race would probably be either elf for scimitar faith weapons + racial line, dwarf for daxes, or human for the heal amp.
