Default epic destinies , sphere max xp

i have been searching the forums/wiki for info on my toon.
i am a artie with arcane sphere (magister 5 / drac incar 3). I am not sure what this all means for my next ED. does it mean i have to take fatesinger to move to my next destiny sphere (which really doesnt seem to have any benifits for a pure artie), or can i just move to another once ive maxed out drac incarn.
i am on a firstlife and this is my first ever toon so please forgive my ignorance.

    thanks

Sorry to say that you will have to go into fatesinger, and after you get 4 levels, then you can move across to the Martial Sphere, and take ShadowDancer.

You can tell where you are able to move by using the map view. On the lines between the destinies are stars. If all of the stars on the line are filled in, you can move there, if not, you will have to get the number of levels, one for each star.

The wiki article (http://ddowiki.com/page/Epic_Destinies) does a better job of explaining it.
