    Default returning player build help

Hi. I left before the enhancement trees. Actually right about when they changed a.c. I had a 18/2 ftr/monk build. Trying to figure out best way to rebuild him with the changes coming in the update. He's a dwarf dwarves axe build, and can be geared armor or robes/outfit. Admittedly it's seriously outdated gear. Any help would be appreciated. Not above tr ing if necessary.

I'd like him to be mostly melee dps, but survivability is a must in game now from what I'm seeing.

Survivability has always been a must-have; it's just a constantly shifting target every time they rebalance the game mechanics.

If this is an older char, you should have both a LR +0 and LR +20 in your inventory; although since you're lvl 20, you might be better off TR and banking those away for a rainy day. Did you want to stick with TWF or did you have something else in mind?

Yeah, tr ing is probably the best way to go. Just not sure what exactly to do with the changes that have already happened, and the ones that are coming. As far as fighting style. Twf or thf are fine. Regearing is going to be a must anyway. I have some +3 tomes take. Some more banked.

The biggest pain you will have is your lack of martial art feats and skills. You can put points into some dwarven racial stuff, do the kensai stuff to the top for being centered while dwarven axing, and put some flavor to it as is. See if you like it this way and play to 28; picking stances as you go, since that is what you don't have.
