Check your settings for a firewall. If worset comes to worst, move the contents of the backup folder to the main ddo folder it resides in, and repatch.

did you mess with the HOSTS (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts.txt) (if its not located there, then dont worry about it)?

there used to be a workaround to prevent login issues by changing the IP Address for ddo there. but that was changed awhile ago so now it prevents it from connecting properly. if DDO is in that list its best to remove it to allow it to use its original IP setting, if you dont have that file then that isnt your issue. Would suggest opening DDO as an admin. if it prevents it with that then its gotta be your firewall.

Try to use an alternate Launcher : DDO-ML or PyLOTRO to connect to the live servers.

At least to make sure your problem lies in Turbine Launcher...

Please stop necro'ing this thread. By now you know that lama isn't open and is only open at certain times - and they announced when that is. (usually before an update or new content)

If you have another question about builds, post a new question in the build forums. People who are likely to help you are ignoring this thread because it has been necro'ed so many times.
