So what happens to uber completionist toons?

They fade slowly to black? They become bank toons? Brought out only on special occasions?

Now here’s an idea:

Demi-God Reincarnation.

Do you have an uber completionist? One who has at least three past lives in EVERYTHING? (three of each class. three of each iconic, three of each epic destiny) *

Then you qualify!

Just use this Golden Ambrosia Heart of Wood and *poof* you are now part god! Welcome to the pantheon! **

This reincarnation completely wipes all non-demigod past lives and you start fresh in Korthos on the beach with Jeetz and a plate of cookies. Baked fresh by the local shamans with special kobold ingredients!

In return you get a stacking +2 build points; +2 to all stats, saves, and skills; and +10 PRR, MRR, RP, SP, and MP; along with a choice of +/- 20% size bonus to character height.

You get to choose one of many demi-god feats including but not limited to: spell focus: god; skill focus: god; god damage reduction; charisma of the gods (augment summons). Each feat has an active and passive component.

You will also get a new color for your character's name for the entire world to see! This color depends upon how many demi-god reincarnations you have done.

This feat stacks up to 3 times.

On the 4th Demi-god reincarnation you character will become a GOD! and be the boss in an upcoming RAID***! Be permanently immortalized in the game!****

Be the first on your block to reach 1 billion experience and 350+ reincarnations (which is what is needed to become a GOD!)

Legal Disclaimers: You will not really be a god but will rather probably in all most likelihood feel maybe closely akin to a god.

* Once Demi-God Reincarnation done - it is locked it. So even if new classes, races, iconics, epic destinies added it will remain.
** (14995 Turbine Points - never on sale and cannot be earned in game)
*** subject to availability and suitability. If all else fails your character will become immortalized in a public tavern as the barkeep and keep 1% of the profits after EBITDAR and salaries - fight insurance - kobold consortium protection fees and coin lord licensing fees.

I like to play ranged builds so the size bonus would be a nerf to the the whole work i did in all those years.
What happens usually is that we stop playing and come during updates to get new gear and test some new builds, then again we hide and lurk.

Good point. Changed to +/- 20% - or maybe should get a SLA ability of Enlarge/Reduce Spell (self only).

isnt the game to easy now? how about a new server ...the ''demigod realm'' All the enemies have doubble hit pts and power at each difficulty! of course only demi god characters would be there...maybe this could be the default server for the superdupers too ...and to balance a bit,character items are beefed up too,of course.(I'd like to know if there any completionists ,that dont use the other '' Evil '' forum..sad but i'd wager 99%, have piles of postings there in dupeland/and if you are innocent ,dont be offended then;as only the guilty would !)

Funny thing is - the game has evolved and changed over the last 9ish years. Starting over at level 1 with zer0 past lives would be fun - providing there is an impetus to do so.

I started this thread half as a joke, half as a nod to the uber completionists (which I am working towards on Uurlock Ygmoev of Khyber ( 13 epic past lives, 23 heroic past lives )

I would like to see this - cause it does give something to strive toward --- true end game --- BECOME A GOD; be the next Stormreaver!

Relatively little time involved. Just copy existing reincarnation code and modify slightly. Add new feat(s).

When (not if) one or more reach the 4th time - whatever is next up for a Raid / Boss is used to satisfy the needs.

you missed some - and some of those are either or (can have only one at a time) - but essentially yes to earn toward even more powerful character - much better bragging rights AND eventually become an important npc GOD raid boss.... becoming virtually immortal (until you get to kill yourself with great satisfaction. ) Freud would have a field day with this one!
