how does it work? It doesn't seem number-of-posts related. I know staff can give out titles but is there a general mechanism?

Nope, sometimes I think they just grant one especially if you do,something good for the community, founder of course is from registering on the forums at the start, hero is from donating to a special charity they had a while back.. I would like one but can't think of a way to get one.

Most of those I either have no talent at (anything to do with art or puzzles) or interest anything to do the realms or trivia contests.

The few I have been interested in have been difficult to,take part in due to scheduling or how they pick participants.

What kind of good reputation if your talking green bars that kind be exploited and with the removal of neg rep has become pointless. I think it should remain in the hands of turbine.

Besides, Uska, we have one of the rarest titles already. Very few of us have "Jan 2006".

good reputation as in someone says a lot of funny stuff and people pos rep them or good reputation because they post good responses and people pos rep them?

Why limit oneself? Do both.


As for any form of title or honorarium here on the forums... they're pretty pointless and really don't mean anything at all. They don't impact your standing here much, nor make posting here any more or less significant. They're almost exactly like cos-pets in game... fluff.

There is nothing general.

Some are earned by :

Winning forum contests held by Turbine.

Others are earned for doing something special for the community.
Others ( like mine ) are temporary.

It's all in the hands of Turbine ( well Cordovan actually ).
