Best place to look for weapons? and WTT/WTB a Smiting Bastard Sword with a Red slot

Besides the auction house, where is the best place to look for good random loot gen weapons?


WTT or Buy a Bastard sword with Smiting and a red slot, would be even better if it had Anarchic on it.

In general, to find related random loot weapons you have to farm quests that adhere to 'class related rewards item'. I'm an artie and I run eda everyday: it gives 5-6 repeaters.

You can find lots of stuff in eveningstar pawnshops. There's a lot of gems there. The old saying one man's trash is another's treasure. Unfortunatelly, you'll find few bastard swords as exotic weapons tend to be a bit rare as random drops.

For smiting weapons I believe anarchic to be a great choice too for maruts/portals. The best prefix would have to be erosive even though most monsters would save against the stone prison it has the same '+' as annihilating. Nothing is immune to disintegration while most golems get half damage from chaotic damage. And yes, I have an erosive of smiting repeater WITHOUT A FN RED slot. Oh how I hate random loot. I suppose the lottery for random bastards would be erosive flametouched iron bastard sword of smiting with a red slot?

Don't forget about the weapon pawn in house D. Not as active as it used to be but Jahmin still hangs out there to keep it open, so the inventory is never deleted. Worth an occasional look
