Getting to Vision of Destruction?

Can't get past barrier of Subterranean entrance fortress that climbs up to it. Followed wiki map--seems like there are 5 plates that need to be lit there before it? The 5th is in a death zone. Have tried everything to light it (also summoned a hell hound to run on it) and I am stumped. I do my best to figure things out before getting guides but this is beyond me and my search fu.
Thx in advance! Have wanted to die in this raid for ages.

U need to get one of the archers that is shooting you to step on it. Kinda Tricky.

aahhh thx! I had that happen but then it unlit. I killed him for it. Alas! The quality of mercy is not strained.

Don't kill the archers, get in his grill and shield block keep doing it until you push him back in the direction you want him he will eventually step on the plate.

Thx for the suggestion! I do this when farming for the Planar Gird to get skellie archers on the plates. (Still never got one.)

Less dangerous to just have them run towards you than pushing them towards the death zone. Since you have to get much closer by pushing them.

So just grab aggro on one side, go far on the opposite side and they'll run towards you to keep a certain distance between you. Eventually stepping on the plate on the way.
