Is there any way to see your doubleshot percentage similar to how the Melee Doublestrike % displays? I cannot find it anywhere - is it another example of ranged being ignored or am I missing it somehow?

You miss the part where 10k stars, MS and Endless Fussilade makes it irrelevant way before you have time to look for it on your character sheet. Yes ranged is ignored, in some patches it puts them into a disadvantage, and in others it makes it absolutely dominant. Guess it's in the same box with handwraps...

Well gosh thanks for the sarcasm and complete lack of help - you're a real star.
Now does anyone have a proper reply? I don't give a wet fish about Monkchers or other FotM builds that might combine weird and wacky feats to create super chars - I'm just a pure class Ranger that wants to use a bow as my primary weapon and would like to see if items/enh etc are actually adding correctly to my doubleshot chance. With Manyshot have a way-too-long cooldown to be that effective and no proper ranged destinies, doubleshot IS useful so I'd like it and other ranged abilities/stats to have a similar UI treatment as spell and melee is getting.
And yes I know ranged power is still "coming soon(TM)" so perhaps this is pre-emptive and UI changes will happen later, but if it is there now and I'm just not seeing could someone lend a hand instead of just being counter-productive.
Hi,
No, I don't believe your doubleshot chance is shown anywhere on the character sheet.
It's not shown in the pop-up which appears when you mouse over the little icon next to where your BAB is displayed.
When I toggled my doubleshot epic past life feat off and on, nothing happened in the combat log. When I put on a pair of skirmisher's bracers, the combat log did show that my doubleshot chance had increased by 8%, but it did not show the total.
I think if you want to know what your score is, you'll just have to go through all your feats, enhancements and gear and add it up manually. There aren't that many sources on a pure build so it shouldn't be too hard.
Lastly, I don't think the previous poster was trying to give you a hard time. The sad fact is, if you an archer using manyshot frequently, doubleshot is not terribly useful.
Good luck with it.
Thanks.
Thanks Blerkington, I thought it might be a manual one but was hoping for better. You'd think the guy who coded the BAB popup would have had the initiative to say "hey, I've added ranged speed so why not doubleshot" but I guess we can only hope for so much.
While manyshot is great and I use it frequently, when you are surrounded by a dozen very angry level 40+ Hill Giants it can only do so much and I'd like to think there is more I can do during the 120 second recycle than having to resort to daggers and praying to the God of Dodge.
Hi,
Yes, I agree. The doublestrike chance is right there too, so why doubleshot is missing is beyond me.
Doubleshot is actually a little better than people make out, because oftentimes the best way to play your archer is not to reactivate manyshot as soon as it is off cooldown. While cycling it constantly makes your DPS as high as theoretically possible on paper, it's not the best way to play in the game.
It can be better to hold it for when you really need it, based on what you know is coming up ahead in a quest, or of course to avoid pulling the aggro of something that you don't want, like a raid boss. In the meantime, doubleshot adds damage and extra CC, which is always handy.
Thanks.

I think doubleshot effects were added to the game after they made that BAB popup, and they never bothered to update the popup.
My sarcasm was directed towards those who made the amazing interaction between doubleshot and the abilities I mentioned, making ds irrelevant for the most part, and not towards you.

another annoying thing with bows is that they don't show which ability mod adds to your damage, just saying in advance
