    Lol. There used to be LFMs requiring a "potion buy in" to running Vod.

    Yes such things seem silly now. But, sad fact they were a complete reality.

    As someone who ran Sub T and Shroud on the regular with a lvl 16 (at the time cap) Cleric it could very well be a huge drain on resources. Just because some newer folks were not around for those times doesn't mean they didn't exist.

    I do agree almost all raids have been called a potfest in their introduction, and were latter managed to be better. And through nearly every one I was playing some sort of Divine healing the raid. However, raids with SP drain have an overwhelming chance of you having to chug a few pots without consideration to how well your group is doing or how well you are hiding behind a rock. So yes, a lot of raids were potfests in the beginning and Yes SP Drain is about as stupid a mechanic as you have in this game.

    I don't really recall ever needing pots in those raids.

    The SP drain mechanic is the same as in heroic abbot.
    If you avoid it, no SP drain.
    If you get cursed by it - drink a curse remove pot, no SP drain (except for initial tick, which is about 150 on EE).

    Not a big deal really.

    Finally able to get to goggle stage and to be rezzed with goggles equipped.
    Thank folks, appreciate that.

    There are two permanent tiles reachable from the platform.
    Consider entering the quest and facing the statue = north (which could be wrong but its a reference).

    Jump/swim directly SE to reach a permanent tile. {This should be enough of a refuge in case of an early inferno, think of it as the leap of faith from Indiana Jones}.

    Jump NW of the pillar left of the Abbot Statue. {Reachable but more tricky to get to, possible danger of swimming underneath the tile.}

    There is a wall preventing a direct wing/swim to get to rooms 2 and 3.

    Monsters are about 10ish CR higher than the quests on EN.

    One can on EN have a toon (or two if DPS is lacking) on archer killing duty it works out about right, the first one reappearing as the last one is killed.
