Think we need to remember that this slayer / wilderness area was not supposed to be available until next week; but do to an ill-behaving teleporting mechanism - it was swapped in at the last minute. I would expect lots of changes / improvements over the next couple of weeks.

    just started doing some s/r/e.

Had a flesh golem hide on me... Spot of 53 showed its shadowy form. Nice.

Like the fact epic taps auto grant and go into green (ingredient) bag. Had some autogrant - but no chest around?

    Like the new puzzle rare...

gone seems to be the double kill mechanism. Like.

Population seems very sparse (very early alpha am sure)

    Random encounter mechanism nice!

Nightshade very good at sneaking up on you. Some even asleep when you approach.

Elementals dropping treasure bags - but cannot use.

Kobolds! (sure are placeholders) (Do you have a Kobold spraycan or paintbrush? :P).

Garret and Erytheia not auto fixing MTD's... (Mummy Transmitted Diseases such as Mummy Rot and Burning Wrapper) on other hirelings.

Hirelings either not recognizing summoned rest shrine - or 936 out of 2352 spell points is not enough to warrant using it. (Erytheia)

Vol's Missive to the Seekers #7 DM yellow text not going away. Ok it went away - but took along time - wall of text. :P

Rift of Fire didn't grant taps. Seemed kinda weak for level. MORE mobs. :P

Hirelings either not recognizing normal rest shrine - or 578 out of 2352 spell points is not enough to warrant using it. (Erytheia)

remove fear pots VERY handy - especially for hirelings.

Mummy Karthonep - quell appears after dead. VERY high bluff check 70+

To semi-mirror Uurlock: Moar mobs please. Triple. Same with heroic. Triple the mob density please.

First, this whole area is really sparsely populated. There's barely anything in the old rare areas and mobs are far and few between. I hope I never find a chain swinging critter but there's plenty of re-skinned purple knight. Some of the rare are interesting - like the guy trying to awaken a flesh golem or you interrigate this villager to see if he's a werewolf but none of them feel Epic. There are no giant encounters. Like a Dracolich. What you find most of are some undead stuff (like quells) but mostly non undead stuff, like elementals, plant monsters, humans and Werewolves. The plant monsters are just awful. We're way past wanting to see that. Those are from Red Fen and it just don't feel right to find them here.

Elementals, sure they're 'riftborn' but we've seen these elemental in pretty much everything. It just doesn't feel - Macabre. And where are the swarms of critters? At most you get 5-6 that you fight. This whole wilderness is missing something truly Epic and a little bit more mobs. Especially since these encounters are a source of Epic tapestries.

The rare spawns have maybe half the hitpoints that the rare spawns in Thunderholme do.

Running thru the wilderness solo, I notice a lot less monsters and a lot less rares than with a full party.

Would like to see a repair vendor at the entrance to the Orchard as well as a rest shrine somewhere near or inside the entrance to GoP.

Ran through the wilderness area. Had a bit of fun and collected some epic tapestries.

    Initial impressions:
I was surprised to find the area still looks the same. I was looking forward to seeing this area brought up to Eveningstar's level of coolness. Did it happen and I just missed it?

Quells, quells, and more quells. They seemed to be everywhere. I had the Intercession effect running on me the majority of the time. Will we be seeing more intercession ward items? Consumables perhaps?

The death effect hasn't been changed for quells like it did for Shadows. Quells still go poof when they die. Thanks. That was always so ...edifying.

Ran into a lot of rares. (Are they currently spawning too frequently?) The ones encountered were fun. Are the encounters static or are they scripted like King's Forest?

Mobs in the wilderness seemed a bit tame for CR 29. I'm guessing stat's are still in the works for them.

The new items. WOW! Many items there to hunt for.

The rate of Epic tapestries acquired vs the amount required to upgrade items. Nice. It's a manageable goal but not an auto-grant.

Looking forward to the next build

    ~Cheers

Funny, I ran through solo and got 2/3rds of the rares in one pass. Ran through in a Group and saw only a couple.

For open areas, the rares should spawn a bit more frequently, one issue I have with Gianthold is I can never get Dragons, which is a bummer.

Normally, I would agree with this comment. But for the past two weeks or so, I have seen a ton of rares and dragons spawn in EGH. I got 9 dragons to spawn before I got to 200 slayers of each race.

Rares spawns seem to be increased significantly in Storm Horns also. We had the Satyr Ritual that spawns the Wood Woad pop up 4 times in a single run of Epic Storm Horns.

Lack of showing passage of time in the Orchard.

Rares encounters were to easily encountered. I would find one and see another one not to far away. Found 12 rares during the first run.
The puzzle rare was the best one.

Caves, catacombs should have monsters residents camping out in at all times instead of being empty
To few monsters when compared to heroic Most of the orchard was deserted or not enough monsters in the area. Add more monsters.
The lack of rats, bats, vampairc squirrels or animal creatures to give the area some outdoor atmosphere. Even the lack of undead where one would find undead is dead.

Disappointing Liches have now been demoted to hired goons. Liches should be orange name at minimum.

Silverflame Hunters have no pants or undies seriously they dont.

I didn't try negative energy on them. I only noticed that were using an undead should when they popped up immune to my insta-kill.

But they are undead enough to evaporate nicely under the effects of Undeath to Death! I thought that was a nice touch.

But it made me wonder: does Undeath to Death affect player Palemasters? And does Deathblock stop it?

Coz Thunderholme is a raid (12 ppl) wilderness, and orchard is normal party wilderness.

IMO all is ok here. Comparing LoB/MA wilderness to King's Forest is same feeling. Or Vale and Subterrane.
