I doubt many (if anyone) remembers me, but I thought I'd check out the game again and give it a spin. Looks like quite a bit has changed in the last three years, not sure where to start.

3 years should mean that you missed out update 14.

Guess first thing you should learn (and buy from DDO Store) are Epic Destinies (short ED), then grind XP for them. Popular terms linked to them are "Shiradi Caster" (Magic Missle spammer using Shiradi ED), Blitzing (meeleing using Legendary Dreadnought ED) and Furyshot (ranger manyshot in Fury of the Wild ED).

If you are going to be spending money to buy TP, you should also consider buying Expansion Packs from DDO Market (online shop), might be better bang for buck (not sure but worth checking).

Awesome! I think I'm going to go VIP for a couple of months to give myself an opportunity to check out all of the new content and earn some TP in the process.

The last I remember playing regularly was around when Epic Red Fens quests were made available. I distinctly remember talk about Druid/Artificer, and raising the level cap, but I know I stopped playing well before Update 14 hit. Anyway, it's going to take some time to get used to mechanics, maps, etc., but I'm looking forward to rolling sometime.

EDIT: Looking at Update patch notes I distinctly remember Updates 7 and 8. I think that's around when I had to stop playing. Tons of content/changes to go over...

If we are on at the same times of day (2 AM EST) I will run with you, if you remember me. I was (and still am) Selee, but you may remember me from the old days as Run n' Gun as the repeater rogue (before repeaters were cool) or Kurrgan the THF melee.
