    Default LR zeroed all raid and quest completions.

    I LR'd a few weeks ago, then went and played some new bards for a while.

    When I logged onto the character today all my Raid completion counters had been zeroed out including my 19 Titan completions.

    I put in a ticket but when the GM came online he said there was nothing they could do to help me, before even speaking with me to find out the specifics of the problem. (I am not mentioning the GM's name because everyone has a bad day and I don't want to get someone to lose a job)

    And then to add insult to injury he said: I have given you 100tp for your inconvenience. Not only was it not helpful and really poor customer service by not talking to me first, it was so aggravating to give me $1 of TP's for all the lost runs, not to mention all the other completions that were not anywhere near 20. It was really insulting.


    Now while I appreciate the complexity of the codes on the game, it would have been better to not "give me" any tps and just tell me how sorry they were and ask for the specifics so they can try to fix the problem for future players. Giving me 100 tp was really insulting and having my loss of completions brushed off really upsetting.

    I have been playing since 2006, with the occasional 2 month break here and there and my monthly VIP runs out tonight, and I am very hesitant to give Turbine anymore money this week if only because how poorly this was handled. So I also wont being buying a TRheart from the DDO tonight, and I won't need to buy a Otto's box (heroic) to push levels. Instead I am going to take a few days to reconsider who I give my disposable income to.

    My warning is this, if you have worked hard to get to 20 completions on a raid make sure that you run the 20th before risking a LR because it appears Turbine wont care or help, which makes me quite sad and upset.

    Has this happened to you? please share your experience.

    I m wondering if the problem is the LR, the update, or a combination of the 2?

    in any case I'm sorry to hear you lost your completions.

    Thanks Beta, I appreciate that.

    I suppose it could have been the update but since posting originally I have heard that it is not so unusual for LR's to do this.

    I suppose what really bothers me (other then losing all those completions) is how dismissive the GM was about my mis-fortune and the quick manner in which he just brushed me off. I can't even imagine how much I have spent on the game over the years since I bought the game itself in K-Mart. Not nearly as much as many other people but not a small amount. I have bought several Otto's, bigbys, over the past few years and all the expansions as well.

    But today I didn't spend a dime, I was that put out over how it was handled. I have spoken with a lot of people today in game and several have said it is not unheard of. So when I think how the GM said they had never heard of it happening within the first 2minutes? well that really bothers me now.

    Maybe it is just time to stop expecting customer service and rewarding loyalty.

    Really makes me upset.

    Have to ask, how many tickets did u open? I ask you mainly for 2 reasons: first, I would'n give up on quest completions so easily (especially if I pay a monthly fee to retain VIP status), and second there's still some (fewer every day, it seems) DM willing to help and in the mood to dismiss you in more than 2 mins... Try again, don't give up on hope!

    2nd question: did all the favor vanish too? Or the board says you completed all quests just once?

    This, and also - check any tomes/skill tomes/ED xp got reset as well.

    Relogging has helped a guildie, but it doesn't seem likely in your case, sadly. Don't give up, though. If nothing else, PM Cordovan or someone, get the ticket escalated - anything.
    DDO: If a problem cannot be solved by the application of DPS, you're not applying enough.

    The most meaningful and expressive thing to say here is

    "Ouch!"

    This should be fixed before anything else, considering LR is a paid feature.

    gms can be very quickly dismissive ,rather than easily pointing you in the right direction.This is a customer service problem ;they surely dont need to act lice an information booth..but seriously most problems have a quick answer,even if it dosent fix the problem the player was subbmitting about

    Okay, not necessarily in order,

    Favor seems alright, tomes are fine, Epic destinies are still there (was running over level so we could shorty).

    I only put in one ticket, I have gotten the feeling in the past that submitting multiples gets you grief down the track. But I could be imagining that, just don't like to make more trouble for myself on something that is supposed to be fun, you know?

    Yes the way the GM said so quickly that they couldn't do anything about it, and here have 100 points, before then saying "we have never heard of such a thing" really put me off. Almost like he was trying to preempt me into shutting up.

    I used my free LR that I had been saving, I had used my +20LR a week before that to set up for all the T.F. runs.

    Bummer all the way around.

    The GM's can fix it, it's been done.

    Just get a decent one. Or buy a lottery ticket, it's much the same.

    Default I think this bug has been around since 2010. It is rare but when it happens it is...

    It is rare, but when it happens it is devastating!

    Sorry to hear this happened to you OP.

    This is a very old, random bug. I have never LR'd since this bug first raised its ugly head. I heard about it from Guildies around 2010 or so and every time the game gives me a free LR item I destroy it. It may be older than that, but that is when I first found out about it. I have also never gone from 28 to 20 using the Epic Destiny Reincarnate system because it is linked with the same code as the LR and people have had similar, devastating, broken character, serious issues when going from 28 to 20. I will not take the risk, even though it is rare, it makes Us want to rage quit.

    I hope this gets resolved for the OP and is fixed. Giving 100 tp's was a slap in the face and the OP stated the dislike about it also and the OP is right. It is warranted imo to say that the GM that helped the OP should be stripped of the privilege to be GM.

    gm's very spotty. no apparent quality control.

    call. talk to customer service. their calls are recorded, and they actually help. make sure you mention to them your experience with the gm (although i'd wait for the "is there anything else i can help you with" phase for that). improving the gm experience for everybody is not "getting someone in trouble".

    quality of life fixes. here's another one they've NEVER fixed. i'd definitely file a bug report. but, oh, yeah, the bug reporting tool is broken. another qol fix. grrrr.

    I've see this term thrown around a lot, lately.

    This is not a "quality of life" issue. Wiping out raid completions on reincarnation seemingly at random is a bug and a broken feature. A quality of life measure is changing the Fatespinner's window so that it takes two less clicks to switch Twists.

    Happened to me last year on a Epic Reincarnation on my perfect favor toon. wiped all the favor, tomes, destinies.
    Still had the titles for the favor but not the benefits, still had sphere xp but no destiny xp..
    Senior GM was able to get everything fixed except the favor, apparently there is no mechanic in place to fix favor.

    I don't appreciate this, it is not helpful, and it tries to drag my unfortunate experience into someone else's drama.

    All right well due to time differences I am going to try in-game once more and then call Turbine via the phone and a friend in the states over the weekend.

    Thanks to several of you for advice and for pointing out that it has happened before and is not such a unusual experience.

    I should renew my subscription in two weeks, this wouldn't be an incentive.

    Put in a second ticket and the GM just ignored me and shut the ticket down without providing any help or communication of any kind.

    Years of loyalty mean nothing to Turbine anymore.

    Makes me very sad and rather angry as well.

    I am really sorry that you haven't solved your problem yet, I hope they do assist you soon... Luckily for me game support came through on my Destiny XP, so I can't personally complain. Still, I hear a lot of anecdotes like yours, and it saddens me because I'd like to see this game go on for some more, as it has a good community, a unique combat system, and many other things attached to it that I really enjoy. Turbine or WB are handling the marketing/business side of it a bit poorly, at times

    So you get this issue. You submit a ticket, GM says he can't help you. You get a pittance of tp for inconvenience...

    At that point I would file a ticket again. Get some more tp. Or more seriously...
    Submit a ticket for the situation and add in that the previous gm (add their name) could not help you.

    What it is boiling down to is lack of knowledge on their end. Clearly someone (as stated in this thread) knows how to restore completions. So that person needs to train the gm's on how to do this.

    That's what I would do anyways when I did GM for a different product. Anything I found that helped customers, I would train the other GM staffers how to use. Make sticky notes, stick it to their monitors, etc.
