Question Pure druid wolf pet EE viability

Getting bored with my wizard and had an idea of making a pure druid which I know is EE viable but was thinking what if I made a TF Mortal Fear collar & shadow scale armor for my pet?

With 3 past lives druid, and augment summoning from the Mystical Elodiens necklace while buffing wolf up with magic fang, pack presence, animal growth, pack aptitude, & tenacious pack.....would the pet be somewhat useful?
Main toons: IronThatcher (tank & box breaker for inquisitives), Mehhh (ranger)...pion of HS...zug zug

You have to be very diligent about keeping aggro off your wolf. Check out this EE Maze of Madness video I made using the wolf. He makes it through without dying, but there are some close calls and this will give you an idea of what to expect. I have 3 druid PL's but do not have Augment Summoning. For Pack Presence, make sure you choose the option that reduces threat and not increases it. It's doable as long as you're not trying to use your pet as a tank and you know that you have to pay close attention to the wolf. If you're not aware, when a druid wolf dies, the druid loses HP and SP, so needless to say, it sucks big time when it dies. Please change this devs! It has the unintended consequence of making druids not want to use their wolves at all

In the video, my wolf is equipped with Thunderforged wraps converted to collar, but only up to tier 2 and slotted with Con +8 and Meteoric Star Ruby. For armor he has Shadow Guardian Shadow Dragon Plate 30/60 DR slotted with PRR16 and resistance +8.

Thanks for the heads up, will have to think about this as I only have about 45 phlogs at the moment.

    YES !!

28 level wolf with proper gear is not only useful but it's a real bad ass !!

With TH collar and TF Heavy armor (DR30/epic and DR60/epic while below 75% health) my wolf can survive alot. And he's dealing quite a lot of dmg too.

With 3 druid PLs, augment summoning (eidolons necklace), ship buffs, Harper tree (+4 to all abilities) and other buffs / augments, my wolf has 81 str / 77 con or 81 con / 77 str (depends on pack aptitude selection).
    total wolf's HP - 1850.
Now, my ED is Exalted Angel, so when I use Divine Wrath it heals my wolf, also he has feed ability so he heals itself pretty nice.
In the Nature's warrior tree, there is blood moon frenzy enhancement, when you kill a mob your wolf gets 40% movement speed and 20% attack speed. You can practically max out wolf's abilities, so the attack speed is impressive.

    My gear:
    collar -
Tier 1 - wrath of flames 10-60 fire dmg
    Tier 2 - Purple slot
Tier 3 - Mortal fear (8 - 64 force dmg and also 5% chance to cut mobs current HP by half)
    augments: meteoric star ruby; ruby eye of force; ruby of boreal frost (2-12 cold dmg); diamond of constitution +8;

    armor (heavy plate) shadow guardian
    DR 30/epic and 60/epic while below 75%
    blue augment - golem's heart
green augment - draconic soul gem

    PRR: 75 (43% dmg reduction)
    total HP 1850 (buffed)

each wolf's attack deals around 150-180 total dmg (plus extra effects - meteoric star ruby; ruby eye of force; golem's heart and double strike).
Also when missed in combat 10-60 negative energy to attacker (happens very often).
Considering the attack speed of the wolf and amount of damage per hit, I'd say its a pretty good companion, it can not only survive in EE quests, but it also deals very nice dmg and takes agro.

I recently completed Stormhorns quests on Epic Elite (Solo) and I was very happy with the wolf companion.
With 66-68 EQ DC, body of the sun, firewall and wolf jumping from mob to mob with a lightning speed, there are no mobs that can survive this.

    I truly recommend that.

    P.S.
taking even 1 level from druid, you make your wolf 1 level lower, meaning no Tier 3 TF gear and no L28 augments, so this works fine only with pure druid life, any split will practically kill the wolf.
