Detour Broken?

Anyone experience the quest as broken? Everyone gets into the basement of the lodge, we kill the bosses, but the chest doesn't unlock (and hence we can't find the Nether scroll and complete). Someone in my group today said it was the second time it happened to them; I personally never experienced it until today.

It happened to me just 2 days, probably a new bug from the patch 3. The situation was a bit difference though.

When we are entering the basement, the whole group got stuck in load screen.
After we restart client and got back, the NPC was gone and the xp sheet was empty and NO RECALL button available in UI.
The rest group decided to run it again, but I bailed out, dunno if they finished it or not.

Ran this again yesterday, but with no issues. So it doesn't seem to be 100% bugged.

Ran EE yesterday had it bug on us,, just recalled and reset was fine second time thru

Man, it's kinda like SAO! There's no Log Out function and you have no choice but to live forever inside the game
