Question No suitable graphics device was found [after U22 Patch 3]

Cannot log in... My PC has an NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M and under video shows also an Intel(R) Graphics 4600.

How can I solve this problem?

Do you use both graphics? If not, maybe try disabling onboard graphics in BIOS settings, and see if that works.

From control panel -> device administration (something like that) -> Just deactivated the Intel graphics and left only NVIDIA active... No result still cannot login.

    restarting and checking in bios....

My Laptop doesn't allow me to manipulate Video cards from bios. Only thing I can do it's enable/disable the Intel one but nothing happens still cannot login. I don't think the NVIDIA GT 750M it's outdate as a video card. It's something that happened with this patch.

    Anyone can help?

Sorry to hear about the troubles. You might try looking at other threads in this section. There may have been a reference to NVidia compatibility problems with DDO, and maybe a driver fix. I will take a look...

edit: Looks like it was just about fan speed issues.

    Hey Z,

Open your UserPreferences.ini file using Notepad or some text editor, scroll down to the [Render] section, find the entry entitled "DisplayAdapter=0" and change it to "DisplayAdapter=1". Save your ini file. That will probably make it work.

Thanks guys... I resolved the issue by doing the simplest thing possible... Re-installed GPU drivers... xD thanks for the help though, Much appreciated.

This or rename the file to something besides .ini and launch the game. All your settings will be reverted to default.

    Glad its fixed.

For others that may have the same issue with Laptop cards.

When DDO updates it doesn't always re-register correctly with the NVIDIA's Optimus Tech.

In the NVIDIA control panel is a section for selecting which Graphics card to use. You should be able to select the correct Graphics card and force it to point back at ddoclient.exe (EDIT DDOLauncher.exe may be a better bet).

May just save 10 minutes in installing the drivers.
