Just a random, forgettable NPC doing things an NPC does
Things that NPCs do include, but are not limited to:
Having a gold goblet over my head to indicate availability of a quest
Having a catchphrase that never really catches on
Having various rewards that are generally not worth the trouble
Wandering around randomly
Giving out obvious information if it wasn't obvious enough
Repeating the same lines over and over again

When he's not making horrible creations, what is Mentau the Fleshmaker's hobby?
Mentau likes to experiment with chemistry for fun. Just last week he was seen on the crystal ball circuit showing the fun effects of dropping Abishai cookies into pitchers of Pirate's Port. It was very messy, but Mentau was reportedly grinning ear to ear until he was obfuscated by the resulting volcanic ejection of foam.

No one has figured out (sadly) that his lifeling goal has been to create a beautiful, pure, snow-white unicorn. His love of horses has made things little messy and problematic. In his spare time he watches reruns of Ridley Scott film Legends and that special dream scene in the Final Cut of Bladerunner. . .the latter which is giving him new ideas
