    Default 10 Fighter/7 bard/3 rogue DPS solo evasion self heals THF nice UMD

    Ok I seen a build with the same class splits I forgot the builders name but I will find it and give credit in a edit.

    Ok I wanted to fix a 10 level dwarf fighter I had that I was not using and wanted to make him self sustaining high dps and have a bit of trapping for favor runs.

    The original build have shield stuff in it I dumped all that for the full THF line. I also was on a first run thru so no past live and wanted something that did not need so many tomes all the builds I see here all have 5000 point spent on tomes. This only needs 1) 2 dex tome at 7 and I think that is even optional as I did not use dodge as I had planned to. I may still tweak this and put dodge back in

    The whole + 2 set at 20 was just to round him out and pick a point of umd bit of will save more just little tweaks so I think for just the fist 20 levels no epic stuff this guy should be fun and low cost build truthfully it could be done for point 0

    So this is not a tank build

    I was wondering is I would not have been better off to use barbarian instead of fighter and thought on that would help

    So here u go let me know your thoughts for improvements

    Ok I made some changes I thought it would be better to move up my bard levels to get my haste and other spells sooner I also move up how soon I get great cleave and few other feat swaps I hope would make this a bit better. The one thing that should also be kept in mind if someone else should use this is the time I took my level are for a build that is level 10 this is a rebuild I also made changes to minimise tombs or us tomes I happened to have picked up for a good deal. I will continue my hunt for tombs and add them as I level.

    If the build works out I will max out tombs before epics so if it possible I would have + 4 tombs across the board at level 20 before trying to do epics

    While not impossible, it's highly improbable that you will have all +4's by the time you hit 20 unless you're buying them from the store.

    I'm curious as to what your enhancements will look like. That would go a long way towards helping you get what you want out of that build.

    Why would you need trapping for "favor runs?" Your XP bonus from disabling traps has nothing to do with how much Favor you earn, just the quest difficulty. Or do you mean trap skills would make Elite quests easier?

    Normally I'd say push ftr to lvl 12 for Power Surge & another feat, but that would mean giving up lvl 3 spells (ftr 12 / bard 6 / rog 2) or Evasion (ftr 12 / bard 7 / rog 1). Are you wedded to THF? You may want to look into Swashbuckling: SWF w/handaxe/light pick/light hammer to take advantage of dwarf racial bonuses.

    I looked at the Swashbuckling thing and I would need to have way to much gear. I never saved and or the finesse weapons no even for crafting cores truthfully even if I did I don't like that whole enhancement line. Not that its not viable. It's not my thing I am still a bit of a role player at heart

    The only thing I would like to know is what I have to do to get double strike for my Great Axe?

    Well I am built now so enhancements are all that is left. I will post them and my spell list and update the post once I get him a bit more set up

    Right now I am using my enhancement to get my trapping respectable

    What I meant by favor runs. Since I am only Premium at this point I can not open elite and I have lot a quest that I still get xp from running every quest at normal and hard that I will do many solo. and find groups for elite so there I won't need to be doing so much trapping + the traps on elite take a 2 step jump. I think I can still get xp what down to 6th or 7th level? A lot a quests that I will nerf others xp for so I will run them solo. Right now with Heroism and my +6 skill boost and + 7 trap items.

    I have a lot of quest chains to run for Bound to Account gear and end rewards that can be past down to future builds

    Next month I plan to VIP for a few months to run all my really low level favor runs. For that stuff I will run thru the traps LOL but then I can open elite so I can get them done in 1 shot

    Giving up my 7 level of bard would not be possible and I would lose my haste. Rage and Cure serious also taking any less levels of bard and 10 level or fighter and 10/7 levels of bard u lose some other stuff to that I forgot at this moment but I seen that this was important to have at least 10 and 7. I could give up 1 level of rog as all that is gained for what is skill points but for what I want to do they are needed too.

    My level splits are now set and so are my feats and tombs til 11 level I built him last nite

    One other reason I want the trap parts to pass onto my 18.2 ati/rogue hi is my trap maker and my crafter

    The 10/7 is a common split for both Fighter and bard. Right now I am hitting 27 or so on my trap skills without pots. I will finish gearing this guy today I will post my trap skill fully buffed and geared but they should be fine I think to do anything

    Yes I plan to buy a + 4 tomb set. I also will hunt for deals on +2 and +3 and add them as I find them. I will just wait for a sale on +4's or even 5's want even is needed at 20 to even all my stats at the highest value but that will be a open option if I decide to use this toon in epics. them If not I will do my 20 shrouds make my green steel and tr at 20. I just did not want to start my build needing tombs just to built it.
    Right not i need 1 +1 or +2 yet for dext for precision as that has to be at 13 so i can take it when I planned to

    I will also be using this toon for gear farming as well. So I need the flexibility and the solo capability. I have 3 toons now and he is the highest level. I have a 18/2 arti rog build for crafting and he is at 7 holding almost 2 levels

    The most important thing in my first few builds is that they are versatile they are more of a tool. Plat and mat earners. I will settle in on something permanent one I get my first TR build.

    Next I will need to make a Wizard build to farm soul stones wow those cost a fortune.

    While I was here 3 years ago. I was on thelanis. Now this stuff is all on cannith. I made these toons I am rebuilding way back when I thought I was going to farm points. Then I realized that not happening and it was a waste of time, these builds now are training grounds so I can re learn the game and rebuild many of mt TR builds on Thelanis and many are 20th level. I just don't feel comfortable jumping in the game at that level

    shouldn't I have access to the fighter enhancements when I am at level 10 of this build since I have 2 levels of fighter? I am bit confused here I am trying to do my enhancement but I don't see any fighter enhancement. I just get Dwarf. the 3 categories for rogue and bard?

    Drop down menus below the class trees. Bard and Rogue are currently filling up all 6 spots.

    Well there are few make pure classes anymore/ Lack of versatility! I have played many pure classes back in the day when I started. This toon has worked out very well I just did a elite Delaera's our rog died and even if it took me a bit with gear and buffs I was able to get the job done. Our cleric died and I was able to scroll raise dead and bring him back because I had the umd. also I was primary DPS using great cleave taming large group of mobs was a breeze.

    I was lucky enough to pull the golden cartouche and got now this build IMHO is superior in almost every way both in buffing the party doing my competence song on our rogue when healing when we lost a cleric. I am not saying I am a better rogue. I am saying I can replace main position in a short party or in event of a death of key player not that I am a superior Rogue just very versatile. This is not a rogue its a fighter

    The nice thing I find about this build is I don't need to sneak about to make good dps and for most pure rogues that is important. I am not big on sneaking to attack in parties u very rarely get the time.

    I have wand and scroll mastery all 3 ranks so I am able to wand heal non fleshies. This guy plays out like a swiss army knife. It been really nice doing all my low level favore runs not needed any hirelings.

    All else aside this build produces large amount of dps as well I have had crits hitting 150 plus at 10 level with not the best gear nor weapons. SO far just headlong runs into the mobs and bosses have been no issue even on elite.

    Not bad for toon that can be made and only need 1) 1+ dex tomb at level 11 all other tombs will just make him better so this build can be made with no TR but 32 point build at a very low cost build that will find his way to being a great addition to any party as well as solo ability too.


    I am still not even fully geared up at the point once my crafting gets up to snuff this is going to my best build to date of the 3 I have on the cannith server. I have A pure Monk there that not bad but its going to take a lot of gear grinding.

    IMHO this is a very solid build and does just what I wanted him to do and the key word is what (I) wanted him to do.

    This is not a rog in the end it primary job is DPS and survivability and flexibility so far meets all my expectations even with poor gear.

    Na a pure rogue will not fill the place I had in mind and where is the adventure in a cookie cutter build. I have played many pure rogus and so few time they were really needed so much more can be done with splash rogues. There are only a handful of times in this game a pure rogue is needed

    Anyway I have a 18/2 arti rogue repeater that is good for now maybe someday I will make a rogue again I have 13 slots to fill just not yet

    Plus I am not into using finesse weapons this look like toys. Give my TH weapons like mauls and great axes I don't like waving toothpicks at the mobs. I know they work, not my point they just look so unimpressive.

    In the end I not sure why your telling me about being a rogue when in the end this is a fighter build not a rogue. straight in your face smash and bash dps the rog levels at for skill points and evasion. Not because I wanted a rogue. I wanted a more versatile fighter. That I have !
