    Default Launcher freezes up with "no signal found" error

    I just did a brand new install of DDO today, and after I click the Login button, it greys out and nothing happens. Here are the contents of my Turbine Launcher logs:

    Code:
    2014.07.17 18:28:35[W] Object::connect: No such signal QCheckBox::returnPressed()
    2014.07.17 18:28:35[W] Object::connect:  (sender name:   'checkEnterLastPlayed')
    2014.07.17 18:28:35[W] Object::connect:  (receiver name: 'loginButton')
    2014.07.17 18:28:35[W] Data Center URL:   QUrl( "http://gls.ddo.com/GLS.DataCenterServer/Service.asmx" )

    2014.07.17 18:29:04[W] Object::disconnect: No such signal Config::onWorldStatusIsUpToDate( void )
    2014.07.17 18:40:39[W] Object::disconnect: No such signal Config::onWorldStatusIsUpToDate( void )
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    I've uninstalled and reinstalled three different ways, including through the Steam client, and they all seem to be messing up the same way. I also installed LotRO to see if it was all Turbine products, and it is also failing in the same way, however with different error messages. I played LotRO for YEARS without any problems in the past, so something in the new update does not like my computer at all!!

    I'm thinking I may have a third party library that hasn't been installed correctly. Can someone with Turbine point me to a list of third party libs to investigate?

    I have gone through all my installed programs with a fine-toothed comb and uninstalled everything that I didn't think I needed anymore. I uninstalled Pondo, all of the Akami software, and the 2005 .NET framework, then reinstalled ddo. I repeated this process for the progressive and non-progressive install kits. I used msconfig to create a clean boot and tried only running DDO, and I still can't get anywhere with this issue. I don't think it's an issue with conflicting software installed on the system anymore. This leaves drivers or hardware incompatibilities.

    It would be nice if somebody from Turbine could stop in and at least acknowledge that they are looking at launcher issues. There's several active threads going on right now, and I haven't seen a single dev response, nor has anybody responded to the ticket I filed.

    Don't have a firewall. Checked my router, and IP filtering is disabled. Disabled my antivirus to make sure that wasn't blocking.

    If you are running windows, yes you do. Double check your firewall in such an instance.
