I'm trying to change my contact E-mail address at myaccount.turbine.com. To do this, I'm required to put in my current password. So I did... and I got a message that the account name and password didn't match.
Figured I'd just made a typo and tried again. And again. And again. Same thing. So I reset my password... same thing again, and again, and again.
I've reset my password three times. I've double- and triple-checking that I'm typing it correctly, caps lock isn't on, etc. STILL can't get in.
And of course, the ingame support doesn't even load any more. Not that they'd have done anything for me anyway.
I *really* want to get this taken care of, because I'm probably going to be closing out my old E-mail account (the one that's currently my Turbine contact).
So, any chance someone can actually resolve this for me in a timely manner?
ETA: And of course, now from resetting the password, I can't log into the GAME either, with either the old OR new password.
NOT a freaking happy camper right now.
Editing again to add: After SEVERAL password changes, I finally was able to log in at myaccount.turbine.com, but still couldn't log into the game... so changed the password AGAIN, and now I THINK it's working. But still, this is ridiculous. Is there some kind of delay mechanism from the time you change your password until the new one takes effect?
If I want to change my password, I should be able to change it and IMMEDIATELY log in with it. No idea what was going on here tonight, but I do recall having a similar problem (though not nearly this bad) once before.
And I STILL can't change my E-mail address. No matter which password I put in, it comes up invalid. *headdesk*
