A simple question really. Is it possible to ever leave the Iconic race and back to a regular one?

Yes, you need to be lvl 28 (or 30 when they raise it) and get an iconic true heart of wood, you need 4.200 comendations of valor for it. It lets you go back to lvl 1 as a regular race or 15 as a new iconic.

Just wondering - what past life feats do you receive after using iconic true heart of wood? If you were a bladeforged cleric, for example, do you get a bladeforged iconic past life feat and a cleric past life feat? Or is the bladeforged considered to be a race and a class in one and you only receive the bladeforged past life feat?

You receive both the bladeforged (or other iconic 'race') feat, as well as the class feat you'd normally get for a past life. (whichever is highest)
