    Default No Streak for Raids

As the title says, streaks can be really difficult to deal with when it comes to raiding. A lot of pugs cannot handle epic elite raids and all of the new raids must be played on epic elite first in order to keep streak. This is difficult, annoying and contra-productive. Its hard to complete and hard to find a group for. Many people don't play raids because they would break their streaks.

To encourage people to play raids on every difficulty wanted, remove the streak from raids.

    I'd love that

I completely agree, maybe if people weren't worrying about their streak all the time there might be some more raids posted!

Yep. Streaks in raids should be removed. I know I and many others would raid more.

You are the one choosing not to play alts.

Casual player now investing way less than I used to into the game, playing 1-3 months at a time and still want nothing to do with Reaper. #improvepuggrouping#alldifficultiesmatter

With respects to OP, think bigger.

    Eliminate the streak bonus entirely.

But removing the XP from this bonus would cause open revolt (at least on the forums).
So increase first time completion bonus for completing at a certain difficulty.
If this happened, you could play all quests on elite and get same xp as an elite streak.
Or you could play all quests on hard first time and get same xp as a hard streak.

Only thing that is different is you could go do a different quest on a lower difficulty and the only thing you "miss" is the XP you would have gotten for completing it at a harder difficulty first time. But you weren't going to do that anyway, so you really miss out on nothing. And you don't have to worry about keeping your precious streak going.
You can group more, with more people, and not incur "penalties" after going down in difficulty.
You can raid more. Level 18 and a hard Shroud posted? Fine, go ahead.
Level 26 and you can find only a normal FoT? Jump right in.

    Eliminate the streak bonus entirely.

The mechanics of the bravery streak aren't even well understood by everyone.
I recently encountered two people (I think I was leveling in heroic VoN) who were afraid to do any quest on a lower difficulty even after they completed the quest on elite because it would disrupt their streak. So they went on to some other difficult quest while me and a couple other people enjoyed some quick, easy xp from the VoN chain on norm/hard. I have no idea how widespread misconceptions like this might be, but it does absolutely nothing for the game.

And as OP and others have already said, bravery bonus is a disincentive to group.
Let's just get rid of it.

Streak, and the breaking of same, does seem to keep people from joining raids. I would love it if they removed it for raids (or, for all quests, even), and put the xp in first time completions for elite/hard instead - so that people are more free to join whatever is up on the LFM.

    Default Streaks in your underpants

    Streaks is good.
Streaks in raids and underpants stink. I never get to raid in my tr's cuz of this.

I agree with OP. Streaks are a good thing, but I skip several raids at lvl to keep streaks going.

I don't want to get rid of the streak entirely. I like streaking and I can always find/make groups for most quests in the game for elite/epic elite. However, I have really trouble finding/making groups that can successfully do Epic Elite Raids (especially Fot and higher).
I would hope for a mechanism like in Devil Assault where you cannot streak at all. I have not seen any1 ever complaining about it.

Also, I explain a lot of people how streaking in ee works like someone once explained it to me. I don't think its hard to understand, nor is it a big deal to explain to people. Just someone has to do it.

i don't maintain streaks through epic levels because a lot of questes doesnt give streak because i had played their heroic version... and other epic quests I am starting on EH and/or opening wide range of levels so they cannot give any bonus from streaks. XPs are not issue on epic levels.

You do realise this is a thread about removing streak from raids right ? You can't complete FoT or CITW in heroic levels...

The number of times i have joined Tempests Spine only to have to start my streak again... Argh!

Open up the raid 1 level above and no one has to worry about streaks.

This won't help with FoT, CitW, and the new dragon raids for example.
