    Default Hulk's Monk Life.

    Hey ladies and giants and welcome to my little thread. I'm coming on to my 5th life and I have decided it is time to get a monk life out of the way. I have a 32 pt. Fist monk alt, so I didn't want go that route. I run regularly with a group of TR lifers and we have a few trappers, and coming off an Arty life, so I do not want to trap. I wanted to go for centered-kensei. My fighter life was a dwarf 12 ftr, 8 monk and I liked it enough to try it again differently. My solution is 10 monk-8 fighter- 2 ranger. I really wanted to go 8 monk, 8 fighter, 4 ranger, but I was afraid fighter would override my monk PL.

    Goal: Monk PL, but run EE long enough to level 3 ranks in GMoFs (to complete once I hit completionist). So I probably will not go further than lvl 23-25, if I get that far. However, I included my ideas all the up to 20/8.

    Note: I planned this out as a Helf w/ rogue dilly. I really wanted to take wizard for blur/invis/ect earlier on, but stats were not working out. I am not decided on Helf, as I could easily go Dwarf and save a feat (needed really-no human though) or I could go with Elfs. I have not looked at attempting to make WF work, though it's crossed my mind as my last two lives have been big ugly machines. And I could go Horc THFing. Nothing is off the table until I see how the next 20 lvls are going to go smoothly. I've also thought about centered-ninja dex build w/ b-swords/axes. However, though I've been told it work, I'm not too sure. No stuns either Though Idk if I'd have the DCs for them at any point just glancing at numbers.

    Also, lvl 6 has me going whirling steel strike, so I could be centered w/ some weapon. Fred will change this around lvl 11-12 to bastard swords, unless I go dwarf. I could take 2 monk lvls earlier on, and probably should, but I'd look to get 8 ftr lvls out of the way quickly.

    10 Monk
    3 much needed feet to make the build work
    Some fist work for oozes and jellys
    Some centered immunities and a somewhat ok self heal
    Light monk for some healing regan in combat

    8 fighter
    Needed to be centered w/ either Bastards or D-Axes

    2 ranger
    3 free feats (Bow Str-TWF-Rapid Shot) to help build some ranged potential. No better or different that a Juggs bow potential, except I didn't fit in procise shot, yet I'm only using it to blast things with many shot and it really didn't feel too needed atm.

    Please let me know if everything looks fine for my goal, or give me a detail or two on ways to make things better. I have all races but Iconic Cleric.

    I am pretty sure if you went 8 mnk/8 fighter/ 4 rngr that as long as you took monk as your last lvl 20, you would recive the monk past life at TR.
    I remeber reading it somehwere and can't find the quote.

    This is not true. If more than one class is tied for levels, the class that comes first alphabetically will grant the past life for the original classes. All of the newer classes come afterward in order of release.
