    Default Crystal Cove: Gem Trade-Down

Please consider improving the gem trade-down function of the Crystal Cove event. As someone who is running Cove as a level 20+ all the mobs in CC drop the highest level gems available and currently I have hundreds. If I want to buy a level 8 item and upgrade it 2 times, I need to have 215 level 8 gems in order to complete the transaction. Through the current barter interface, to complete this trade-down transaction, I have to:

Click 215 times to change my level 20+ gems to level 20 gems
Click 215 times to change my level 20 gems to level 16 gems
Click 215 times to change my level 16 gems to level 12 gems
Click 215 times to change my level 12 gems to level 8 gems

This involves a total of 860 clicks to make one item. I can only imagine how much time people have wasted just through this clicking. In trying to make a tier 3 level 12 item, I had to do a total of 765 clicks to complete that item. With server delay in purchasing, it took me roughly the same amount of time to just purchase the item after my cove session ended as it did for cove to reopen. Please strongly consider making it so you can trade a higher gem for ANY corresponding lower gem through one click.

I realize this may be too late for this CC, but in the future this would drastically reduce the immense amount of unnecessary clicking.

Great idea. Two possible ways I could see implementing this (I don't know which would be easier to code).

    1) Control-click on the Trade button would bring up a number selector similar to buying stacks of items in a store.

    2) Allow the recipes to use any higher gem, i.e. a level 8 item could be made with 20 stolen {obsidian, amethyst, rubies, emeralds}.

    UDR Loot Rules:
    1) No griefing people for pulling loot that dropped in their name
    2) When rolling, classes for which the item is "useful" get +10 to the roll
example: Wiz and Barb both roll on a Torc, the barb saying "I'm TRing into an arcane next week"
Wiz gets +10 on his roll

I really like both of these suggestions a lot.

I agree wholeheartedly. I actually made a forum post (here: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...e-Trade-System) for one of the ideas ssgcmwatson came up with... It's just so aggravating to put in so much time to get it done... AGGGH Glad to see others agree this is nuts.
