    Default Thrown Weapons

Does the single weapon fighting tree increase the attack speed of thrown weapons? Are there any (other) thing(s) that increase thrown weapon attack speed that are not specific to a certain class?

    1. Base attack bonus significantly influences the speed of your throwing attacks. (Starting at ~28 attacks a minute at BAB 0, and going to ~56 attacks a minute at BAB 28)

    2. Both quick draw and rapid shot each provide roughly +6 throwing attacks per minute

    3. ranged alacrity / haste do increase the rate of throwing attacks, but at less than the stated amount. Seems to be on the order of half the stated increase in speed.

    4. Maximum rate of throwing attacks appears to be ~84-88 attacks / minute, so even if you stack several alacrity boosts, you will hit an attack cap. As a sample, max BAB + rapid shot + quick draw + whirling wrist (from Shiradi) + haste (15% alacrity) gets you very close to the attack cap.

    5. Gilvaenor's set stacks with haste, etc.

...aand to answer OP's first question: SWF does not affect your performance with Throwing Weapons.

Wow, thanks for all the info. It's too bad about the single weapon fighting tree but it looks like thrown attack speed isn't too bad if you're set up for it correctly.
