Default Heroes and Marauders Static Group

    17 MARCH 2016 Update

Hi, our static group of four players is about to TR (three of us will be on our 3rd lives; one of us on our 2nd life) and we are looking to fill the 1 open slot we have. This group has existed for about 3 years now. Three of us have been here from the beginning, and another for two years.

We will TR and start in Korthos on April 14, 2016.

    What Characterizes Our Group
    • We basically run all quests on elite once and then move on. We do all F2P quest and almost all the packs. (XP farming and gear grinding is pretty much non-existent in our group.)
    • We have fun while killing stuff.
    • We laugh at each other when we die. The comic relief of watching the paladin/monk who always boasts about his evasion die in a whirely-gig trap is so totally worth 10% xp lose.
    • We poke fun at each other and generally have a good time.
    • On the scale of zerg and flower-sniff, we are somewhere in the middle. (We had a true zerger in our group once, and he was ****ing most of us off. We still talk about this guy from time to time. )

    Details Details Details
    • We play Thursdays 8pm to 10pm and Sundays 7pm to 10pm - Eastern Time - on Argonesson.
    • New players are VERY VERY welcome. You don't have to be experienced to run with us. Just be willing to listen to suggestions and play as a team.
    • This is a GROUP PLAY group. We play TOGETHER as a GROUP.
    • Characters on any life (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and on) are welcome.
    • Packs: You need to either have all the packs or be willing to get them when the group decides to run certain content. We do all heroic quests on elite so a lot of favor and TP will be generated. This will help you some with buying packs if you don't have them already.
    • You must be able to communicate with voice chat.
    • In Game Rules: We're not huge on rules. We allow Auction House and Shard Exchange.
    • We are mature players. (I think we are all 30 years and over.) Anyone is welcome, though. As long as you're friendly and and want to have some fun, we're good to go.
    • Our classes: I'm not sure what our group make-up will be, but among the four current players, we will have all main roles covered (front-line type, ranged type, wizard type, trap skills, and spot heals).
    • The 2 players to join us can be AN

Y class they want, really. We have all major roles covered.

If you are interested, please post here (or send me a tell). Alternatively, you can look for me on Argonession on my characters Totalle, Nynaave, Catteras, or Paularubia.

Everyone who is interested should post here. In our experience, some people tend to join us for a week or two and then lose interest. So, we'd like to have as many people who are interested respond here. If we have more than 2 respond with interest then we will do some "practice runs" before July 10th to see who might be the best fit.

    Thank you.

    Hey,

This is a drama free, low pressure group that is perfect for new players. I started with this group about a week after I started playing DDO. Unfortunately I had a few bad experiences with pugs right right off the bat. I decide to try this group before giving up. We started in Korthos at level 1, and went through the game, almost in its entirety and are TR'ing at level 28.

They really helped me not only learn the game, but how to get the most out it. If I had questions or didn't understand something, someone was always willing to help. And not just with the quests. They helped me learn the interfaces, building my various character, the Auction House, what weapons or spells work against what, pretty much all aspects of the game.

New and experienced players should enjoy the play style. We play as a team, we stick together, and we help each other out. The voice communication really helps with all this, it really does enchance the game. We don't race through the dungeons, we usually complete all the optionals, and we take the time explore a bit. We do most of the packs, including some of the packs that you normally can't find pugs for.

The atmosphere is great. Laid back and relaxed, kind of the like proverbal friday night poker game with your buddies. This is a great group of people to spend the evening with while we play the game.

If this sounds like something your interested in, just contact us. We have two open spots. We will be TR'ing back to level 1 soon so we can do it all over again.

    Default heya

hjeal meh. thought i should practice it a bit. hehe

hey guys. I thought i would drop in and say a bit. so a bit about us, we play to have fun. min/max is not what we are about but we do build and get gear to make it easier and of course more fun. as a group we dont really lollygag(unless Nynaave falls asleep, or tagez sees a shiny), but we try to complete everything in a quest and bs a bit. one rule Nynaave forgot to mention is dont follow tagez he will get u killed or lost.

Taking time to show each other some stuff they didnt know is worth our time, i know i have learned a lot and i've been playing for 3 years. i think all of us played pen and paper, and we use that group play in ddo. if u are use to pug speed then u will find us a touch slower and more relaxed, we do pug to complete most raids.

    Default weekend bump

Well it normally take a few weeks to fill a static group, this is why we posted at this time to allow for anyone interested to have ample time before we tr'ed. The ample time is to get a character

to 2nd life or to give the time needed to find others that will start their first life(and dont be intimidated by the 2nd vs 1st life its really not that big a deal the way we play). If u are thinking

about it send a pm or post here, we made it to level 28 with 4 of us and plan on doing so again but would like to give the opportunity for 2 more to join in and share the fun(no experience

needed) and you dont even have to be that good, i mean they let me play. we play elite in heroics and hard in epics most of the time unless we got slaughtered then we step out drop the

difficulty and try again (this really only happened after trying epic elites and a few epic hards). We are hoping to get newer players to keep them interested in this awesome game but are

accepting seasoned players also. Post first then have a great holiday weekend

LOL - Two weeks to get a character to 2nd life... I mean, I know there are people who do it that fast, but probably not that many.

Yes lol i meant it as a way to finish off any remaining levels because i doubt anyone that can run a toon from 1 to 28 or even 20 in 2 weeks wont be joining us. as u know many people have mules or toons that they dont play that often and are most likely parked in the 14-20 range and 2 weeks should be enough to tr those if one puts in the time and effort or at least close enough that we could wait a session or do a swap for a new toon to the tr'ed one.
