I saw the free lioness for VIP a few weeks ago and couldn't resist. So, I fired up the game a week or so ago to find all the Reaper stuff. Supposedly it encourages grouping. All I've found so far is crazy zerg fests by vets (did Tomb of the Blighted in about 3 minutes...) and my group posted and going unfilled. Oh well. At least my swashbuckling warlock can solo stuff pretty well.

Good to hear from you. Yep, we are working our way back up again. A little slower this time. I don't know if reaper is helping in forming groups, but depending on how many skulls it does necessitate working together as a group. You may have seen we are bouncing between 2 skulls and 4. 3 seems the happy zone for our group in most quests. Usually a couple of deaths per quests. A lot of one shots in some quests, difficulty getting the reapers, or multiple reapers in some occasions, or it could just be that I am the cleric this life

Yeah, I've just been doing Reaper 1's for BB. I seem to get people to group with fairly easily now. I think before was a fluke. And if no one joins, I can solo R1 fairly easily in most cases. I do like that the reduce self-healing encourages healing others. Naturally, the cleric role becomes more relevant with that, too.

I remember when I had enough free time to get bored of gaming and would have to take breaks from DDO...

We had a metro-wide fire drill in Atlanta on Thursday that pretty much wrecked my whole evening.
I wasn't on I85 but I was on the south side of town and got caught up in the overflow traffic.
Traffic is normally 'so much fun', but when they start closing roads it's a whole new level of mental anxiety.
Although I shouldn't complain, at least I didn't witness any road rage.

And today I have to drive my son to Memphis for visitation. That will pretty much take up what's left of my weekend.
So I am gonna miss tonight's session as well and have a bit of catching up to do.

You guys have fun, but not too much fun (without me), and I should see you Thursday. Hopefully at proper level.
