    Default The music box

This item is designed awesomely. There's only one real fault with it: cacophonic guard? Do you know when that would be useful? If the item didn't have a minimum level. If it was a no minimum level item, I could see me slot a bunch of whatevers at level 1 alongside master's gift and laugh my hat off. Or heavy fortification, fear immunity, vitality +20 at level 11. Or NEVER at level 24.

What's with developers and their need to make trinkets way over level?

This item falls for me in the Gem of many facets category. Oh hell yeah, I'm gonna wear this gem and get +2 attack bonus at level five if I wear a pair of +3 jump boots! So powah, much swag
Bought my first dungeon master's guide in 1992. My favourite part of ddo is coffee and slayers

When things were in the developer stage, that was one of the suggestions in the threads here.
I think the Blasting chime (against which it ultimately competes) is better. . .
Wiki dashboard with some useful stealthplay links. LONG LIVE STEALTH!

It really depends on the build u playing.

On my tank the Music Box is awesome!
The blasting crime would give me nothing i would be an exchange of a yellow slot against a 20% fortification bypass against constructs on an not crit intensive build.
I definitely prefer to slot poison immunity or blindness immunity on a toon witch is focussed by tonns of casters witch casts loads of poisons and blindness effects on me!

What does 20% fortification bypass against constructs give to me while i´m blindly trying to hit a Drow Wizzard?

So is it the best option for most characters? No!

Is it the best option for your toon? Probably not. Otherwhise u wouldn't call it bad.

Is it the best option for some characters? Definetly yes! Its the best trinket for my tank and it perfectly fits to my gear and setup!

U guys are arguing like: "Well the Lantern ring is **** because my rogue doesn´t benefit from it! 2 Wisdom? Are u kidding me? There are much better rings out there for my rogue!"

Its the only Trinket witch has 3 Slots on it and that makes it the most flexible Trinket in the Game.
And that makes it perfect for toons witch are missing 3 specific effects on their "perfect item setup" witch they have figured out for their toons.

Well one could argue that a tank is the best character to slot the Blasting chime when fighting Constructs.
Your DPS is usually not the main concern, therefore if it means sacrificing a bit of DPS for a debuff that will benefit the rest of the group, then tank is usually in a good position to do it.

Notwhisthanding that, I don't know what is your build, but 3 slots is usually an overkill, which is why it is an under-appreciated trinket. I cannot imagine a build where I would need that many slots; but of course that is possible... And even if it is, it is an underwhelming item with a ML24.
Augments slot increase the ML, so this trinket could definitely have no ML and be a very flexible item for TR. Instead the ML24 makes it a very very very niche item, that is worth wearing by almost noone...

I think like the abbot quiver, this item should have its level restriction removed. This way it can be used as tr gear.
