im surprised there hasn't been some further investigation, i mean they break bags for people doing naughty things but yet its gravy to let the toons that are perma banned in a guilds still have there renoun count.....weak.

Perhaps I'm missing a joke here, and this guild is known for exploiting or something, but it isn't that hard to get to 200.

With Sagas reactivated, I can realistically get 200k renown a day easily before any pots or guild bonus.

Imagine if I had four or five other guild members who were also dedicated to farming renown.

Renown ransacks after three levels gained in a day, but saga rewards do not ransack.

I don't actually know how much renown it takes to get to 200, but if I had the people to do it with, I could realistically get to level 100 in less than 20 days. With that being said, I see no reason why a guild couldn't be to 200 already.

Yep, sure is amazing, how a very VERY small guild got level 200, when the Biggest guild on Sarlona, Bathory Hordes couldn't seem to hit over the 145 mark.

A six-account guild gets +300% very small guild bonus. The question is how long were they at level 100? Without decay, banked renown just kept piling up.

They hit level 100 and then sagas were disabled for months right after. They were guild level 199 the day the update dropped. no one on our server is even close to that.
I guess the question is who's going to pull in more renown? A guild with well over 200 active accounts and a smaller bonus, or a 6(4) man guild with the highest renown bonus. One of those guilds is at 200 and the other isn't even at 150...

I saw a member in the marketplace and had to stop to see what I was looking at since their guild name was in bright red and I'd never seen that before. They hit level 200 just last night. I was in-game when the world announcement came up. Since they were 197 the day of the release, it is likely that they had renown banked. One of their members is a former member of my current guild. Knowing how he plays, I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they went from level 197 to 200 in just a few days through legitimate farming.

I don't know what they were before sagas were disabled or when they got there. I'm not trying to defend them. I don't care if they're level 200 or level 2, nor do I care how they got there. I'm just presenting accurate information since I know that your previous information has been inaccurate and exaggerated. You're not helping your credibility when you do that, my young padawan.

Aside from my former guildmate, who joined them either right before or after the update, I don't know anyone from exploited killers or anything about their reputation. So I have no reason to assume one way or the other that them reaching 200 is legitimate. As I said, I'm not trying to defend them. And if I know you in game, I don't know you by your forum name.

So banked renown takes them to 197, and re-enabled saga collection pushes them up to 199. I can see it, with renown pots.

2 months or 3? Sagas were just activated again, and got disabled 2 or 3 months ago. I can't remember and am too lazy to look it up.
