Angry Just a crazy idea about Airship Amenities

    How about

    a) the gorram NPC on deck prevents you from buying an amenity you don't have a hookpoint for on your gorram ship.

    or

    b) the opportunity to get a effin refund if you accidentally bought an amenity you don't have a hook point for.

70,000 plat down the drain for a Bath I'll likely never use because my guild barely managed to get to 14 let alone talk about 40 so I can buy a airship which would be able to hold that effin contraption.

    I'm livid!

Sorry, but your fault for not paying attention to requirements.

Also, any guild can now reach at least level 150 in time. There is no longer any renown decay below guild level 150, permanently. My guild is level 38 now, and we only have 2 active players. True, it did take us over 2 years.

Finally, you could always encourage your guild members to contribute AS and save up 1000 AS for a Stormglory Bolt, which has 1 Stateroom.

There is no requirements. Nothing shows up on the mouse over.

The Daedalan line of airships has no required guild level at all. Granted, they cost astral shards to acquire, but they all have staterooms.

I'm kind of curious as to how you bought it, too. Don't you buy the amenities by clicking the hook points? I think they only list the amenities that can be placed *at* that hook point. So if you're not actually clicking on a state room hook point you shouldn't be able to buy stateroom amenities.

Social panel, Guild tab, Rewards tab. Amenities which require a Stateroom say so, i.e. "Bath House (State Room)"

I do agree the requirements should be listed in the Inventory/Purchase panel.

I understand that you're upset, but in the end it is your fault for not making sure you had the correct hookpoint available.

No, the kobold has an option to view and buy amenities. However, since the amenity is permanent, and can be swapped in and out with other amenities, and will be there when the op's guild levels if that is the issue, this is hardly a catastrophe. Just leave it in storage til you hit the point you CAN use it.

OK, I've cooled down a little bit. I still claim that the Kobold on deck is a little misleading in his menu. And there where no details about the hookpoint requirement in the details of the Bath House, so I still call BS on that. But lesson learned - thou shall only buy amenities via the hookpoint, because the Kobold on deck is a moron.

And it will take some time (a year or two) until I got to Guild Level 40 :-O to buy a airship big enough to use the Bath. *sigh* I'm a one-man-guild atm and my old guildies won't come back sadly (the new one I acquired won't leave Wayfinder and restart on . And no, I wouldn't join another guild. It's my guild, my airship (which ate away about a quarter of my funds in plat) and my Bath (which killed about half of my plat), so I'll keep my guild and start earning plat again! (Yeah, I'm stubborn).

... Anyone wanna join a level 14 guild on Ghallanda, with a Airship without a Bath and only one casually playing dude? :-D

If you don't mind that I also play casually since it's not my main server, I'd be happy to help out. It's not like decay is active until vanity levels, so anything I do for you is pure extra in your renown bank. Sometimes I like to solo, but I have way too many friends so an alt place where I can help someone and just take a breather and have some downtime wouldn't be bad. Pm me if you'd like to do this.
