After about a year of having the guild and after finally reaching level 60, I figured it was time to post something here.
About Us
There are only 3 of us in the guild right now (plus 3 dummy accounts for the optimal renown boost... heh), but we're always welcome to new members. All of us are primarily heroic players--I only run epic content to farm tokens in order to TR. This may change in the future, however, especially if new members want to run epic content. We also don't do much in the way of raiding, but, as with epic content, this can change in the future if needed.
In terms of playing schedules, we're online during various times of the day, though the most common time to see all of us online tends to be late at night (PST). Unfortunately, due to our different schedules, we don't often get the opportunity to run stuff with one another, so you could call us a "PUG-friendly" guild. Two of us are on PST (GMT - 8 hours) and the other member is CST (GMT - 6 hours).
We're all fans of classic rock and metal to some extent--one of our members is even a dedicated guitarist who busks every now and then! Also, if you noticed, the guild itself is named after a Black Sabbath song.
Recruitment
Since I started the guild, I figured that my policy would be rather simple: recruit people who demonstrate common sense and common courtesy. That's it. It'd be nice if you have those traits in addition to a passion for good rock music, but the latter isn't all that necessary; your character and personality come first. "Common courtesy" aside, I don't mind if you make an occasional snarky or sarcastic remark if I do something stupid--it's all in good fun, and everyone, myself included, needs to be kept in line.
With that in mind, anyone within those parameters is welcome to the guild. As I've stated earlier, we're heroic players, but don't let that discourage you--if you need someone to run raids or epics, I have other characters who are above 20 and flagged, and we can adjust. Our guild identity is kind of malleable at the moment, seeing as we only have three people and we're not really well defined yet.
One last thing that you may want to note: I treat the guild like I treat my LFMs in that I'm welcome to inviting newer players, as long as they know how to listen, follow directions, and demonstrate a drive to improve.
If you're interested, please send a tell or mail to me, Blindbeard. That's the character that I play the most, and since I seem to be the most active in the guild, it's probably the best way to contact us. Thanks in advance for reading this, and I hope to see you online sometime.
[edit]We're level 66 now and we have a Daedalean Glaive, if that makes a difference for anyone...
