    Default Improved Feint (Bluff?)

When this makes a bluff check does it actually use your bluff skill or just "Create a bluff effect"

It's based on your Bluff skill, IIRC. Fortunately, it's on a separate cooldown from Bluff / Diplo / Intim.

The sad thing is this bluff-skill-based area-bluff is for all practical purposes broken in combination with using weapons. It's a bitter pill that it works fine if you are a monk with handwraps.

For the steep two-feat cost to get this feat, you get a bluff that has a loooooong animation, and if you try to move, attack, etc. before the animation has gone through its cycle, then the animation gets broken and you don't get your bluff effect. Though it does still cause your maneuver to start it's cooldown.

The length of animation and fact that actions interrupt the effect make it a pain to use. It's too bad for toons that want to make feints and sneak their bread and butter.

You don't need an especially high Bluff skill to use it, though (not like Intimidate which can require numbers well over a hundred to use consistently). I've been able to bluff epic raid bosses with around a 50-60. Which makes it even more annoying that Improved Feint is and has been broken for a long time.
