Hello. i have the following problem.

i play in wondowed mode. sometimes, when i minimize the game, i cannot restore it back up. the game still works normally, but i cannot restore it. i tried the Tab+Windows combo, but it woont work.
i have to force the game down and restart it. any ideas?

Sometimes a game and video drivers depending on the system, can take quite some time to come back up. Is the hard drive thrashing? If you click on the tab once, and wait, see if it comes back up after a min or two.

Have you tried alt+enter to swap back to full screen mode ?

i forgot to mention one important thing. this happens when the game is loading. either when its a log-in load, or a port-to-other-area load.

i mean, i type the password and then i minimize it. then, after it completes the load, i cannot restore it OR

i use the GH porter adn minimize, and then i cannot restore it back up.

I've had a somewhat similar problem sometimes - usually after zoning (freeze on loading screen when attempting to enter a new area), then re-logging in. For me it's caused by a dnd and/or Happy Cloud process 'hanging' (staying active). So I ALT-CTRL-Delete, start the Task Manager, then end the process(es). This may not address your problem, though.

sounds like my problem. which processes exactly u end to solve it? how are they called?

It varies as to whether it is one or two processes. They are named dndclient and HappyCloud, as I recall.
