Default High Lords will host Shroud teaching raid on Saturday, May 17th at 9pm EST

Our last teaching raids FTP and TOTD were tons of fun and there was so much interest that we ran two of them back to back! CLICK HERE to read about it!

We have completed every raid in the game as part of our teaching raid series, with the exception of Tempest Spine and Titan Awakes, which we are not planning on doing as teaching raids at this time. Our plan is to continue these teaching raids for as long as interest persists.

So this brings us back to the top of the lineup! The next raid in our series will be the most popular raid in the game: The Shroud (aka The Thirteenth Eclipse) on Saturday, May 17 at 9:00pm EST!

As with all events in this series, these raids are for players newer to the raiding scene or players that are looking to learn raids better. First timers welcome! Dbags not welcome. Please have sound and be willing and able to follow instructions.

The goal is to welcome newer players into the raiding scene, to teach people how raids work, to get players more comfortable with raids, and to enhance the Sarlona community.

If you are new to The Shroud, you will need to be flagged, which requires completing the 5 Vale of Twilight quests: Let Sleeping Dust Lie, Rainbow in the Dark, Running with the Devils, Coalescence Chamber and Ritual Sacrifice. You will need to have access to the The Vale of Twilight adventure pack. Then you will need to talk to Valairia in Meridia to complete her crafting device tutorial and then take the 5 stones from the end chests of the vale quests and use the crafting device in the basement of Meridia to convert them to a Shavarath Signet Stone. Finally, show the stone to Valairia and then talk to Aaseamah to pick up the raid.

If you are new to DDO raids, The Shroud is a great first raid and it contains some of the best gear in the game... Green Steel! Green Steel items are crafted using ingredients found in The Shroud and the flagging quests. GS weapons and items are highly customizable to your build and offer access to some unique and powerful abilities. For more about Green Steel, click the link above and you can also find a nice Green Steel crafting planner HERE.

Usually all spaces are spoken for by the time of the raid, so reserve your spot ahead of time! If you would like to reserve a space in this Saturday's event, please contact me in game on Gingerspyce.

Thanks for all the support and special thanks to DDOCast and DDO Chronicle for mentioning our events. We hope to see you in raids soon!

    Love,
Gingerspyce and The High Lords of Malkier

Still spots for our teaching shroud this Saturday! I will be out of town and not in game on Friday evening and all day Saturday until about an hour before the raid, so don't worry if I don't respond to in game mail right away

Default Harry... banished back to Shavarath!!

Just when you thought there was no one left on the server that had never run a shroud, we found 3!! Good times were had by all, as we covered all details of every part of the shroud... even waiting for the wall in part 3 to show what that's all about

The Saturday Night Shroud crew stands victorious before their spoils!

Next up in our teaching raid series will be a double feature in the Subterrane with Vision of Destruction and Hound of Xoriat! I will post details in the Sarlona forum soon!
