What is the most active and helpful guild on any server? And which server are they on?

Well, I can speak for our guild Tyrs Paladium. We are very friendly to the new player, returning player, or a veteran player that likes to group with knowledgeable folks without all the typical egos, drama and riff-raff of the typical guild. Play hard, laugh hard, and win, together. That's our motto No drama, no zerging. No B.S.

Ghallanda is also home to "the Fellowship", the prestigious No Drama Ghallanda Guild Alliance. This group consists of well known and respected veteran Ghallanda guilds such as The Old Timers Guild, Blackmoor Defenders and the Southern Tenant Farmers Union. Large, medium and small guilds band together to help one another fill parties and complete quests. Any Fellowship guild would make a fine choice to join, as all are friendly and teamwork oriented.
