Update 22 - Round One

In case people come here looking to gripe about the swf issue:
1. You can't take SWF without previously having 2 or more ranks of balance; preventing you from taking swf at character creation or later as a feat in levelling if you did not previously have the required amount of balance to take the feat.
2. Singe Weapon Defense is not supposed to be there, has no function, and takes a feat slot.

Also, Not all guild amenities are working properly. At least one of them is providing 1600 fire and light spellpower.

I've already made a character over the past 6 years, now I would like to get him on Lam

It doesn't take too long to level to 28 in the test dojo and TR, might take a bit longer to get triple Heroic completionist though, but still possible I believe.

Most spells (and the Favored Soul's Angel of Vengeance summoned archon) no longer emit light.

There isn't a feedback discussion on the Lam forums, so I am going to bring it here.

They are talking about sword and board viability and the appearance of people playing those builds. Near the end I suggest that single weapon fighting should have shieldless bypasses in the pre's for fighter and paladin, like swashbuckler has. I think that would help close the dps gap S&B has.

The Character Copy remains down.

Why is it still down? Does it need alot of money & time put into fixing it? We appreciate all the new stuff but obviously this is an important item to us. Weve been waiting a long time for this & update after update comes out but no character transfers yet...........PLEASE show us we are important & what we want matters by fixing it soon or giving a reason for it being down & why its STILL down.

You might want to check the dev tracker more often for recent developments.

Yes, this is tech that will be used to bring Character Copy back to Lamannia. We expect to enable it later this week, after performing a character wipe on Lamannia (which is necessary to avoid various conflicts with the transfer tool.) Stay tuned!
