Default my first EE DA solo (A Wizard and His Tower Shield)

I know it's not a big deal at all, but I'm still quite happy I managed it, it actually surprised me

I used zero pots or any consumable at all. Also totally forgot to use Ruin, I had just leveled to 27 and forgot to put it in the bar.

Build concept is: a wizard (shiradi) with heavy (well actually medium) armour and a tower shield.

Thanks for your time, don't bash me

    Nice job

Which abilities did you find most useful ?

Did you find yourself at anytime feeling like if you just had X, it would have had less trouble?

The knife throwing ability from shiradi was surprisingly awesome.

Twice I risked dying due to pietrification, i.e. a flesh to stone by some warlock, but they did never last enough luckily: so maybe I should have twisted Dragonhide instead of Interrogation.

Indeed; I sincerely hope moo cow writes greetings cards for a living

OP, what tactics did you use? I wasn't sure if this type of build had enough damage
avoidance to allow the DoT healing to be effective. Did you have to burst much?

The OP was "tenderizing" the meat.

    Ok...ok... I'll stop now.

Thanks, indeed I use it only on special occasions.

Not really, there were a few frantic times (specially with orthons or bezekira) when I had to jump around and spam neg bursts but most of the time the two auras were enough.

I wouldn't say I used any special tactics at all... just spamming missiles and wildshots, keeping auras, displacement and haste up, an energy burst every time I could... the normal thing.

I'm sorely lacking any fists at the moment.
Maybe I should rectify this asap.

Maybe you should just use the shared bank space ?
All my toons have 1 large ingredient bag (except my crafter who has 2) 1 medium collectable and 1 or 2 medium gem bags. Rest is larges and in shared bank (5 green, 3 red). Requires work to transfer excedent collectable to bank etc.

I give this accomplishment two fists in!

Seriously, great work; EE Devil's Assault is, to me, the most difficult EE in the game due to the space and the instant death that teleports atop you. Getting merely a "fist" is the least of your worries there...
