Check your emails frequently on the character who lost the box. I lost an item and then had it returned a few days later via the Orien mailbox in game.
Yeah when things like that happen don't mess with gm's they can but usually won't do anything. Call turbine customer service directly at 781-407-4020, they'll refund your points at least they always have for me when stuff got ate by the game.

He (or she if I have it wrong) should get a best GM award.
Other GMs could learn a lot from this one. instead of auto-closing tickets and using canned responses without ever actually interacting with the customers.

My thoughts exactly, twice I tried in-game with +rothgar but he said there wasn't anything they could do and wouldn't even give me contact info to escalate the complaint. just goes to show that a lot of the problems that don't get solved are due to them not wanting to put in the work.
