    NOTABLE POINTS ON THIS BUILD

It MUST be a 28-point build. All those extra points are for n00bs and, let's be honest, they don't make a difference, anyway.

Likewise for tomes. Those are for credit card warriors only.

The 3 wizard levels are non-negotiable, as Shroud of the Zombie is absolutely CRITICAL to this build's awesomeness. Because, dood, let's be honest - nobody can resist the wiles and charms of a zombie toaster. Check out that sexy reduction to move/attack speed and lowered intelligence on an already struttin' warforged! OH YEAH!!

If you're worried about the whole "undead" thing.. pfft, who needs heals on heroic anyway? And don't worry about light damage. None of the enemy clerics/priests EVER use light damage spells.

It may take some time to farm for the ideal equipment - you'll need to complete the first quest in Delera's Tomb and get flagged for the second twice (but you can just abandon it and start over to skip the whole arc) - but this build all-but REQUIRES that you dual-wield the absolute epicsauce that is the Club of the Holy Flame (bestest weapon in the game, IMO). TAKE THAT, MELEE TANKS! You don't even know what hit you.

Don't be noodling with the spell selection listed, above. That's uber-important, too. Ditto for feats. Or skills - you know if you want to be rollin' in the plat, you gots to be haggling your sales like a mo. Who says zombie toasters can't be pimp, too?

Also, it's polite to make sure every other member in the party has hyper-critical buffs on them at all times, such as Water Breathing. You never know when the quest might suddenly dump you into an inescapable pit of wetness. Don't EVER let this spell run out. In fact, cast it before and after every single mob and shrine. Your party members will thank you for it, even if their thanks are indecipherable because they're so happy they're screaming.

By the way - You're Welcome.

P.S. If you took the above seriously, I have an investment opportunity you can buy into for the low, low price of 1M in-game plat.......... :P

Eh . . . I prefer my joke builds with more of a theme. I remain the world's biggest Swimcleric fan.

....well now that poses an interesting thought. I have to admit, the point of this build (if you can call it that) was "be completely, functionally useless" more than anything... oh, and serve as an introductory post. On that note, Hi everyone!

I'm sad we never got a final resolution to the swimcleric story - did he ever make it to cap?

On-topic, this build definitely meets the uselessness target but could benefit a bit, humour-wise, from having a small sliver of functionality in some niche area. My opinion only, of course.

Welcome! It really wasn't meant as a criticism, I just believe it's a valuable service to humanity to link to Swimcleric whenever there's a reasonable excuse.

However... I'm curious about whether Illusion Focus or Abjuration Focus is more "broken." In this case, in a bad way (good, since that's the intent? So confusing). Here's what I'm seeing...

Illusion only has 7 spells in its school on DDO for sorcs/wizards - and, of course, this is assuming that a player could overcome the stat-crippling to even be able to cast spells (at least above level 2) in the first place. I see Blur, Displacement, Hypnotic Pattern*, Invisibility, Invisibility (Mass), Phantasmal Killer*, and Shadow Walk; only two of these even have saves at all, and in order to cast PK, would need a total of +8 CHA item - which would barely meet the criteria to cast it at all, and surely have a relatively lousy DC, even at heroic 20.

Abjuration, on the other hand, has 19 spells in its school for sorcs/wizards - I only scanned over the list quickly, but still counted 8 that had saving throws on them. With more spells that would be benefited by Abjuration Focus than even exist in DDO in the Illusion school, wouldn't that, well, be an improvement?

Most of the abjuration spells with DCs are rarely if ever used, though. Whereas Phantasmal Killer (illusion) is actually really, really useful on a high-DC build. (Though since you're dumping CHA, probably not an issue -- they're equally worthless.)

You forgot to equip that trinket thing from Von4. Blood Rage Symbiont?

Oh no no, he's got to dual-wield the Clubs of the Holy Flame! Simply because it's quite possibly the ugliest and weakest melee weapon short of.. well... a chair leg. Add to that the penalties for a Sorceror dual-wielding without 2WF will make him almost incapable of hitting Jacoby Drexelhand in Korthos while he's level 20. ^_^

Plus, an axiomatic sword might actually hurt somebody, sheesh... are you TRYING to poke someone's eye out???

If doing a gear list, don't forget Madstone Boots - that really pulls the build together.

Also, can't be uber without monk (duh!). This is pretty close, so only 1 mnk lvl is needed. I suggest swapping the FvS level for it.

Since you get exotic Prof: shuriken from the monk level, frees up a feat for Adamantine body for uber AC and PRR. As mentioned, this build really needs improved fortification.
