    Default Protector of the Silver Flame

    Fun build while TRing through my Healers.
    I call it: Protector of the Silver Flame

    Half Elf for bow str and Helf tree will unlock Arcane archer for Para Arrows and core abilities.

    6 lvl monk and 14 cleric or FVS.
    Monk will take dodge feats and 10,000 stars
    Cleric and FVS will take War Tree and max out damage for the bow.

    Great healing Archer. Good bow skills. Typical bow feats and have fun.

    Let me know how you like. Sorry if it was previously created.

    Interesting and would like to see it fleshed out more. Things like:
    - Recommended starting stats & level-ups;
    - Enhancements (can screenshot them);

    Also curious if you considered adding a 2 Paladin splash for saves but maybe that isn't needed if you are just TRing at 20...

    Sounds like you are now exploring EDs and not just TRing... I am playing something similar on a first lifer at 28.

    Some things I did differently (not necessarily better) with a focus on being survivable for EE:

    Instead of 14FvS/6M I am playing 12FvS/6M/2Paladin as with 12FvS I still have full Heal and felt that it was worth splashing 2 paladin for Divine Grace.

I realize conventional wisdom is to put do min in Dex to get the prereqs and then go Wisdom for 10K stars but instead I did my level ups in Dex helping both to-hit/damage bases all the time (in ManyShot/10K/and when neither are active) and to get a really strong reflex save. I realize that it is a trade off and wanted to try a max dex alternative with great Evasion though I may do some LRs to compare once my overall saves are higher with better gear/PL/etc...

    Instead of putting all those points into WarPriest on a ranged character, from memory, I maxed out the AA tree to T5 to get at least Slayer arrows and Improved Elemental Shock arrows to help max Vulnerability stacks ASAP.

    Leveraged 6 Monk to mainly get Shadow Veil and from memory also picked up some sneak attack and dodge bonuses.

    In my case I didn't do the strength route as I didn't have enough feats for WF:Ranged & Bow-Strength but if I had gone strength based instead of Dex based I would have also worked to fit in divine might...

    Speaking of Feats I think I went for Zen Archery (monk1), Precision (monk2), 10K Stars (monk6), Point Blank Shot,Rapid Shot, Manyshot, IC:Ranged, Precise Shot, Master of Forms, & Combat Archery...

    For me Quicken was a non-negotiable and I wanted DragonMarks+Extend so my feats were real tight...

    I worked hard to try to keep Empowered Healing metamagic in but for now I decided on Combat Archery instead and hope that non-empowered heals are enough considering my max avoidance (max Displacement/Concealment, max Incorporeal-ability, max Dodge, shooting at range/kiting)...

    I also left out Improved Precise Shot which is a very hard choice but fit my goals since my build focuses on team DPS on a single boss target. For most builds I would not recommend that...

    Default Big Thanks

    When I started exploring ED "because I wanted to use my free Epic Heart". Turns out that hearts are easy to earn TR and eTR so I had time to play a little in the Epic content, I have been maxing out my AA tree after I saw some one single shot a few mobs. Multi shot + fury + slayer = awesomeness.

    Thanks for opening my eyes to the eleven enhancements. I will run that race with my build in 2 lives, life after completionist. I recently tanked TO first time ever and was successful with this build but displacement couldn't hurt . I will dump Str for Dex, big win. I will lean towards higher Dex for DPS as elf for same reasons you described below, but not sure if I'll take 2 levels of Palidin, I like to cast resurection and keep raise dead as a back up. I hang almost as long as the uber players without dying and find myself raising the fallen party and spot healing while they tank. Thanks again for feedback.

    I worked hard to try to keep Empowered Healing metamagic in but for now I decided on Combat Archery instead and hope that non-empowered heals are enough considering my max avoidance (max Displacement/Concealment, max Incorporeal-ability, max Dodge, shooting at range/kiting)...

    I also left out Improved Precise Shot which is a very hard choice but fit my goals since my build focuses on team DPS on a single boss target. For most builds I would not recommend that...

I recently tanked TO first time ever and was successful with this build but displacement couldn't hurt . I will dump Str for Dex, big win. I will lean towards higher Dex for DPS as elf for same reasons you described below, but not sure if I'll take 2 levels of Palidin, I like to cast resurection and keep raise dead as a back up.     Thanks for the feedback and glad to have helped and cool that you are working on completionist. Regarding Raise Dead options I have UMD and scrolls as well as at least 1 spell and find that fine and found the huge extra boost to saves from Divine Grace worth it in EE. I typically do at most 3 Heroic lives for 36 points and a few focused PL perks and then focus on Epic past lives so I spend more time in the Epic levels than in the Heroic levels.

    The Elven with 2 Paladin splash route was good for me and gave me great reflex-evasion/overall-saves/displacement/incorp/dodge/etc even on a first lifer and the Dex route allowed me to focus on fewer stats and free up needed feats... Once you finish grinding out your completionist, if you have also ground out green steel and have lots of Displacement clickies then Elf becomes less critical (though you may need it to get Dex with Bow).

    After Heroic Completionist is out of the way and you get to where you are focusing on Epics and particularly Epic Elites, one concern is that you may find saves are an issue. You may have a decent reflex if Dex based but may have sub-par saves on the others (or even want moar reflex)... With that in mind, if you have tons of displacement clickies and don't splash 2 Paladin you could stay Half Elf and shore up overall saves with a Paladin Dilettante instead of a Ranger Dilettante like you did above... That may become even more common-place if they semi-nerf Divine Grace with only 2 levels of Paladin.
