suggestions for moving forward with drow ranger/rogue 12/1

Hi everyone,

I've got a drow ranger lvl 12 with spalsh rogue 1 ..... I've gone tempest mostly and racial bonues for Rapier. So she has been using rapier/dagger and starts with Shuriken. I just don't think she is performing to a peak with my current set up, so asking for advice on her future or reincarnate???

Should i maybe start taking monk for 7 levels? Or will Ranger really start to shine now getting into the mid teen levels?

Should i reincarnate and try a different build?

Hard to give any real answer without knowing what your current build is.

What feats have you taken? What are your ungeared stats? What's your plan/goal for the build?

On the face of it, I'm having trouble thinking of a good reason for a ranger ever to use a shuriken -- bows with the various free feats (bow strength, manyshot) should be a lot more effective.

It's rarely if ever a good idea to multi-class a character without some plan, so I don't think going for 7 monk levels at this point is going to be a good idea. (Are you even of lawful alignment to make that possible?)

Try searching for Ellisdee's Tempest Trapmonkey build -- it should give you some perspective on what a good ranger/rogue/x combination looks like.

this was my frist drow character, so had no real plan, accept was trying to do 2WF with racial rapier bonus from drow enhancement tree. No big plan, that is why I am asking for some help now and wondering if I should continue and see if Ranger gets better with this drow or just TR.

lvl 12/1 Drow Ranger/rogue;

Feats taken so far; dodge, Improved Crit Piercing, mobility, 2WF blocking, 2WF defence.

stats; (Base is in brackets) STR 15 (15), DEX 21 (14), CON 20 (15), INT 19 (14), WIS 18 (13), CHAR 10 (10)

Was just trying out shuriken because I was in the drow enhancement tree and rapier/shuriken bonus there. But I maybe should just go with bow still?
