What does this mean for DDO?
Is there a club for all the ex-producers to hang out and commiserate in somewhere?
Not really a revolving door. Glin is still there and has been around for something like 8 years now. Fernando is long gone, Rowan took his job, when Rowan went back to Lotro, the new producer came in, but she had been with ddo in a producer role for a number of years now. MajMal, now takes her job. Leaving QA empty and alone.

No, no, not like Skype. There are no pictures. You flip open this hand held electronic thing (because its like folded in half) and then you know how you type letters when you're texting? You kind of start out like that but you use numbers. Then you hold it up against your head so that the part with the speaker is near your ear, and the other end is by your mouth/chin area. Whne you hear a voice say "hello" or something similar you then begin speaking.

Alien is the better film.....Aliens is much more fun

Also it's probably responsible for more lines of dialogue for use in any situation, Monty Python is possibly the only thing that can come close.

congrats To MM Just make sure the QA folks keeping trying to nuke the bugs from orbit, after all - it's the only way to be sure

Yes. Alien is the best haunted house movie ever made. the Alien and all the iconic stuff that was used for the next 20 years came from the first one. The ches tburster scene, the drippy water and chains stuff, the Space Jockey with it's amazingly subtle warning of the future, the sound design, the model making and the detail...it is just an amazing genre changing film. Cameron's film is great, but it had the net effect of ruining storytelling in games for 2 decades.

TNG as best overall TV. Sorry youngling, TOS is the superior series. No space cheeleaders, whiney kids that drive the ship, and a Kirk doesn't drink...tea. He drinks saurian brandy then beats the **** out of a bar of klingons. Picard tried that barfight thing and ended up with a new heart.
Out of the new series DS9 post season 4, nothing from Voyager, and the last season of Enterprise. I love TNG for seasons 2 -5 even love the last episode. But yeah, I'll take Kirk Spock and McCoy over Picard Data and Riker/Worf/Crusher. Going back, man was Worf written poorly.

I said it over somewhere else but now I can officially say congratulations on the level up. I vote on you changing your title to Colonel Onoscopy, cause I'm fairly sure that is how the job is going to feel at times

P.S. The ex-wife loved this one too...
One of the reasons I rank B5 so highly is the feeling it was planned out ahead of time rather than what I see in most TV shows where maybe the first season is planned out, then the rest feels like it is written week-to-week. B5 survived broadcast changes, being shoved into an 11pm timeslot, cancellation...still managed to have a beginning, middle, and end to the story. That can't be accomplished today.

Maybe Firefly would have been as good had it been given the same chance to grow, but we'll never know.

    Also:

(Related to B5, I'm still sorry we did not get to see the full plan for Crusade.)
