Default Only open TR Cache when requested

The TR cache always opens when you go to the bank. This takes too much time, and is not needed 99% of the time. It also appears to take a fair amount of server side resources to build the cache item list.

Please change this so that the TR cache is opened on request (maybe a button on the normal bank UI), rather than auto-opens with the bank window.

    No, No, and .. no.

I'd say, Turbine, change your servers so they are actually efficient and not laggy for xyz reasons.

    I could see this.

It usually only takes 1-2 extra seconds for me though so it's not a huge concern of mine.

I can't decide whether having to open the TR cache manually would annoy me more than the current 2 second delay every time I open the bank. Certainly neither one is very fun.

    Thumbs up Great Idea

While I wish that the devs would just outright fix the lag in the game, I know that would never happen. Something like this might help reduce it.

Another alternative would be to empty your TR cache. Then you won't have to worry about it until the next TR.

I find that the larger my TR cache, the longer it takes to load. I certainly wouldn't be against making a tab or button for it so I could open it when needed. A fresh looking bank UI could clean up some issues, especially with the new shared ingredient bank in the works. I worry that any work done on the bank could lead to massive bugs and lost items. In a perfect world, that wouldn't be an issue, but it has to be taken into account before any changes are made.

Ha. Give us another 5 bank tabs and I'll think about it.

    • NEW: Players can see an unfinished upcoming feature in this Lamannia build that is not yet ready for preview. Players should not interact with the Shared Ingredient Bank yet, as it may cause problems. This is a feature being worked on for a future update, but is not yet ready for public consumption.

I d like to see the following:
initial bank interface has 3 buttons - one for personal, shared and TR cache each.
Each of those can be opened and closed individually.
Also i think its now impossible to empty cache to anywhere but inventory, id want to place items from it directly into the bank too.
